Casa dell'Escursionista

Luca, Anna e i loro figli sono una famiglia stupenda, sanno bene cos'è l'accoglienza e come far sentire a casa le persone. Le camere sono nuove e curate, la colazione buona e completa, tutte le mattine c'erano sul tavolo anche i dolci fatti in casa. La casa si trova nel centro del paese di Cerchiara e si è rivelata una base perfetta per visitare il parco del Pollino. Fondamentali i consigli di viaggio di Luca, abbiamo anche partecipato ad una delle sue escursioni in e-bike.

Stunning property hidden away in the mountains. Everything needed was in close proximity so that you could walk around the village. The owner’s recommendation for dinner was superb with Michelin quality food without the stars! Outdoor activities such as road biking, tramping, trail riding are all at your fingertips. Basically, an oasis in a desert!

Each day in this sleepy town began with an awesome breakfast that included freshly baked cakes, bread, cereal, toast and a selection of fruits, yoghurt, cheese, meat, juice and coffee. Luca and family were lovely hosts, sharing their home and we enjoyed an e-bike excursion on the mountain with Luca, seeing the local sights. Suggestions to lunch up the mountain at restaurant Locanda della Quercia were a fabulous recommendation and we had to go back a second time for the great food, views and charming owners. This was a fabulous B & B and so comfortable and clean, with a lovely balcony to view the town, countryside and coastline and sea from. Could highly recommend it if you are in the region - fabulous hospitality and accommodation.
