Don’t book if you don’t want to chance them

Location is good

That you book the apartment, message them on booking.com, call them and no one reply. At the end I called costumer support, the AI agent reply on the call 3-5 min talk, then I got transferred to talk with operator and was on waiting call for more than 10min. Then I give up and and book another place to stay. Overall big shame…

Very sad place not worth the money

- Relatively good location to watch the fireworks on BG na Vodi. Although with the current street repairs you have to walk very far around to go anywhere. - Ok bed - There were things like a tea kettle and cooking oil and even some regular coffee (domača) - When meeting us the contact person sounded friendly and she did bring us wine glasses when asked. During the first day communication was pretty ok. - There was some shower gel available. - it’s a regular residential building so if you order delivery they can find you easily.

- Insanely cold bathroom. I avoided showering because of the cold. You needed to wear outside clothes and warm shoes to the bathroom. You either leave the bathroom open and freeze the whole apartment or you close it and the bathroom turns to an ice cave. - The general feel is much cheaper than the photos. Pretending to be luxury while being on par with the average Belgrade apartment minus the hot tub. - Only the AC for heating. If you open the door for more than a couple seconds all the warm air leaves with the draft. We had to set the AC to max heating and even then had to wear warm socks. - Literally only two plates and two forks for two people. We had to ask for wine glasses. And the cutlery was dirty as if it was stored above a greasy stove for a month. - Poor communication overall. There were some moments when the staff was really friendly and responsive but when we were moving in the entry instructions arrived quite late, just as we were standing at the door. After, we couldn’t get any answers for some things. I get that it was a holiday but if you aren’t going to be available then don’t rent the property during that time!!!! We wrote during business hours too! - Very very little toilet paper 😱 - The jacuzzi was the ONLY reason we chose this place and it doesn’t even drain! The side knob is broken, the switch to the shower head is broken, and it didn’t even feel all that clean. We had to wait for it to drain on its own with the plug closed because no one answered how to drain it. Two adults can barely fit. Why didnt we drain it the normal way? Because it was broken and the owners didn’t reply for two days about it :) I saw they replied to a review here but no, the side knob is broken and does nothing! - Tv remote was broken so we couldn’t even turn it on, even though we checked that the batteries were ok.

Samo djakuzi i lokacija izvlace stvar

Nije bilo cak ni rolne toalet papira, ni kapi nekog sampona. Mogli su bilo sta da sipaju u dozere kad ih vec imaju, pa makar i onaj litarski. Ovako je stvarno bilo krajnje jevrejski. Ovo mi se jos nigde nije desilo. Soba stara, posteljina daleko bilo-plasticna, ucebana! I malo smrdi.

Only the location was great, nothing else.

Dirtiest and smelliest apartment I have ever been to. The apartment was reeking of cigarettes during our whole stay we could not sleep at night. Only the floor was mopped, everything else was sticky and not cleaned god knows how much time. Hair was basically everywhere probably from previous guests. Gave us a different apartment than the one we rented. Owner was rude even before we came for providing some answers we asked and when we also came. If you want to have a nice holiday, do not go here!

Incredible view and great location, but the cleanliness could have been better.

The view is incredible. Location is great, but for some reason the google map will take you to another location, so contact the owner before hand to ask them to send you the correct location. There was soap, shampoo and enough tp for the night. The hostess was very pleasant, always smiling and answering the phone call and messages. The apartment was pretty.

The apartment was clean somewhat, the bedsheet were clean, but there were some old stains on them. The TV in the bedroom didn't work, but we stayed for only one night so it didn't matter. Also the jacuzzi bathtub, looked dirty and there were some foot marks on it, so we didn't use it, which was a disappointment because that's the only reason we booked this apartment. Tip for the owner if they didn't notice not all lights work and they are not the same color (the lamps near the bed), also the dish rack doesn’t have a tray underneath, so the water drips onto the floor.

The location was very good, close to the center. Free bus is Belgrade. Friendly staff, speaking English. No advance pay necessary. Possibility to pay in euro or dinars.

Lovely apartment, deserves a better host

The location is great, although finding it is not that great since the location link they send you in the welcome message is about 15 minutes away from the actual location, so be sure to type in "Marcel Apartments" in google maps, don't use the linktree (unless they fix it). The apartment is spacious, looks pretty like the pics and the bed and couch were nice. It looked pretty clean.

As many previous people said, communication with the host is terrible. We thought it was maybe because they don't speak english or something but we're Serbian, and they just don't answer your messages here on booking for over 20 hours, and then when you call the number they reject your call. We sent a text and got the door code but when we said the location they sent us was wrong, and asked if they could help us get to the place, no reply. The first reply was a call the next morning that she'd come to collect the money (since paying is in cash). No questions were asked if we were satisfied or anything. Also the shower head was leaking (more like spraying) water everywhere so showering was intense. And the TV remote was missing, it should have 2 remotes, on for the TV, and the other for the channels. The first one was missing and the TV was on low volume so we couldn't watch it either. I mean at least it was cheaper than most in the area, you get what you pay for I guess.

Το διαμέρισμα είναι σε μια ΠΑΡΑ ΠΟΛΎ παλιά πολυκατοικία που είναι πολύ δύσκολο να την βρει κάποιος ακόμα και αν ρωτήσει τους ντόπιους που είναι η είσοδος της. Για να μπεις στο κατάλυμα πρέπει να μπεις σε ένα μπαλκόνι και μετά υπάρχει μια ξεκλείδωτη πάντα πόρτα που σε οδηγεί στο κατάλυμα. Μέσα δεν μοιάζει καθόλου με της φωτογραφίες και είναι και πολύ βρώμικο. Επίσης μόλις ο ιδιοκτήτης είδε ότι έγραψα μια κακή κριτική με απείλησε να την διαγράψω αλλιώς θα με κάνει μηνύσει. Κάτι τέτοιο σίγουρα πρέπει να εξεταστεί από την booking καθώς μπορεί να υπάρχουν και άλλες αρνητικές κριτικές που διαγράφτηκαν με την απειλή του ιδιοκτήτη.

Apartman u radovima, ubacen đakuzi koji nije u funkciji jer stoji na metalnim nosacima koji su sveze ofarbani, ispod nogara stoje papiri od farbanja. Pola namestaja fali, tepih savijen, nema toalet papira, nema kupke. Vlasnica jako ljubazna, ali apartman je bio u krš stanju, nije bio za izdavanje.

Я брала улучшенный номер, но ощущение что я попала в бесплатный хостел для беженцев. Старый дом, квартира в ужасном состоянии, входная дверь держится на честном слове. джакузи не работает, кран с горячей и холодной водой не включается, квартира холодная даже летом, что, здесь происходит зимой страшно представить. Полотенец не было! Одеяла не было. Просьбу принести одеяло и постельное белье хозяйка проигнорировала и хамски ответила: здесь вам не отель довольствуйтесь тем, что есть , а после и вовсе перестала отвечать. Я считаю такое поведение как владельца квартиры не уместно. Как можно отказать в просьбе принести одеяло. Если в вашей квартире холодно и невозможно было спать от холода. Также сделана плохо уборка , я нашла под кроватью использованные презервативы! Из под раковины шел неприятный запах и много темных волос валялось по полу.
