The position

Unfortunately, my stay did not fully meet expectations. The check-in process was quite confusing due to issues with the keys, and the property felt older and less maintained than advertised. The accommodation had a noticeable musty smell, the kitchen lacked some basic essentials, and cleanliness could have been improved. There were also several animals roaming around the property, which did not bother me too much but could be an issue for guests with allergies or fears of animals. The terrace was not as private as described, and there were no extra blankets despite cold nights. The bathroom felt outdated and the shower/bathtub setup was not very practical. The biggest downside was the lack of sound insulation: noise from outside, the house itself, pets, and even other occupants was clearly audible. Overall, the stay was manageable, but the property would benefit from better maintenance, clearer descriptions, and more attention to guest comfort.

I loved how friendly the hosts were and we felt extremely welcome and at home. The bed was very comfortable.

Host were friendly, secured parking, good for family, view of the beach from the balcony, cleaning done by the host.

We had to carry our luggage to first floor which was heavy.

The hosts were friendly. The accommodation has a top location, near bars, restaurants and the bus stop is 10-15mins walk away. Additionally, it’s close to the beach La Cinta, no car needed to get around the town. Air conditioning was available and working well. Towels were provided as well as dishwashing liquid and a sponge.

A huge minus point goes for the WIFI. There were two different hot spots and only one worked, which was the router from the main house where the owners lived. It DID NOT work from the rooms at all, so you have to get as close as possible to the main house to be able to connect. That was a real pain! Furthermore, communication was difficult as they didn’t speak English, only one Lady did a tiny bit. So there was not much interaction or I wasn’t able to ask many questions like: “where’s the nearest supermarket located, what restaurants would you suggest etc. If you are a host and you have international guests staying with you, I believe, you should be able to speak English to communicate with your guests.
