The property is in a typical Saigon neighbourhood which I loved. 12 minutes to central Saigon by GRAB/Taxi. A shopping Mall is a 10 minute walk and there are small supermarkets nearby as well. Food outlets everywhere.

The host was super friendly and welcoming. She even offered me fish one evening—so delicious! The semi-private kitchenette in the hallway was a nice touch. The room was super spacious with lots of space for your things, as well as a table to sit at. I liked the location—in China town but not a long ride to other parts.
The bathroom wasn't great, but everything worked, and it served its purpose. No blackout curtains, so if you're at the front of the building, lots of light comes in at night (not sure about the back, but I expect it would be a bit darker). If you have an early flight, maybe don't book here. Because the gate and door lock from the inside, the host needs to let you out if you leave before morning. She was very friendly about it, but I felt bad that she had to get up for me.
