The main living area is on the upper level allowing ample space for families and entertaining, while the bedrooms are located on the lower level, providing separation for relaxation and privacy. The 2-mile path runs between the ocean and several of Maui’s most luxurious resorts. Along the path, you will find kiosks to rent paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkel gear. Numerous resting areas may be found along your walk, providing a place to relax and enjoy the calming waves and breathtaking ocean views.

This property has everything you need to enjoy yourselves in Maui.
DJ was a pleasure to work with.
The view is spectacular!
A bit of road noise from time to time however, after a while it turns into white noise.
Sometimes the birds singing are louder than the traffic.
Property was clean and instructions were spot on.
The new split A/C worked like a charm.
Closet storage is abundant and there are plenty of built ins and shelving units for all your stuff.

This townhouse was the most expensive of our three rentals during a one-month stay in Hawaii. It also was the only disappointment. The photos showing a view of the ocean from the upper lanai are accurate. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets. But this house is a long hike from the ocean for anyone carrying towels, beach chairs and snorkeling equipment – too long for us. Instead of hearing the surf, we heard the constant noise of traffic on a nearby busy road. In general, the house was clean and reasonably well stocked with essentials as well as beach equipment. The landscaping surrounding the multi-building residential complex was lush and well-tended. But the house itself is run down. In the refrigerator: a door shelf was broken off, a drawer front was cracked, and the ice maker wasn’t working. In the dishwasher, the top shelf sagged, threatening to collapse while loaded, so we used only the bottom shelf for the most part. On our first day, a cupboard shelf collapsed. On sliding doors to the ground-floor lanai, one lock was broken; the other door was stuck and difficult to move. In each of the two windowless bathrooms, a single switch operated the only light and a cheap, noisy ceiling fan; one fan screeched so loudly that we took flashlights to use the room rather than suffer the noise. Beyond disrepair, the kitchen was stocked with cheap plastic dishes and “glasses.” After the ice maker started spewing water, DJ (the host) sent a repair person who fixed the sliding doors and removed the ice maker. That was it. No offer to furnish packaged ice or even ice cube trays. DJ did offer to send a cleaner to fix the collapsed cupboard shelf; but we had fixed the shelf and cleaned up the mess ourselves. DJ also contacted us 11 days into our 13-day stay to say that a new ice maker could be installed right away. We declined because we had purchased enough ice to last those days, and we had had enough of dealing with maintenance problems.
