Good location.Easy to find. Staff initially allocated a room which was in the midst of redecoration, but soon realised their error and found us an alternative room which was perfect for our needs.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the night we stayed and as the restaurant was outside of town it was not easy to find a meal. We ordered a Deliveroo in the end.

The hotel is a converted mansion, sitting on a hill with a commanding view of the town and Valley. The restaurant had very good food and an amazing view. The bar was excellent. The grounds are lovely and had a swimming pool. It has a small elevator and a lovely, large elegance staircase. The staff was wonderful.
The room was small as you might typically find in Europe

It's a grand old lady; I imagine it has some stories to tell; outlook over the pools and gardens is nice, it's planted away up a small incline, so you'd have to be going there to notice it; which makes the car parking more private.
Whilst the overall feel of this lovely old building is good, it's beginning to show its age in places, and we consider it's worthy of giving it some tlc
