Absolute Athens II

Dimitria was waiting for us on our arrival - She let us into the anppartment and showed us around. She had left fruit, milk and some biscuits for us to enjoy along with coffee, tea and the basics like washing powder. Ot was really convenient having a dishwasher in the appartment as well as a washing machine. When the washing machine wasn’t spinning or washing clothes properly the team collected our washing, they washed it and hung it out for us whilst we were exploring Athens. We were blown away by their communication, the speed at which things were managed, as well as their generosity and kindness - nothing was too much trouble for Dimitria and her team. She also arranged our transport from the airport (which was very reasonable in comparison to the going taxi rates) Our driver was also very knowledgeable and gave us some great recommendations along with the recommendations from Dimitria. The appartment is so central, it is a short walk from Syngrou fix metro and a 10 min walk to the acropolis! It has restaurants below which are convenient after a long day of sightseeing, as well às a supermarket a 3 minute walk away. The communication was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for the team. Thank you Dimitria for the most amazing stay and for everything you did to make our family holiday so memorable - we will definitely be back!

Nothing - everything was perfect! Some of the previous reviews mention the appartment being noisy with it being above restaurants, but the appartment has double glazed doors and windows and if you keep them closed at night with the air conditioning on you will have a perfect night sleep!

Het zag er netjes uit

Het was niet duidelijk dat de locatie precies boven alle horeca zit met alle lawaai daarbij de hele nacht door. Het balkon zit daar ook, op de foto lijkt het een idyllisch plekje te zijn.

It was spacious, centrally located, and not so many tourists. I'm sure there would be more in high season, but I was there in April. I enjoyed the cafes below us and the livelyness of locals talking into the night. It was a short walk to the road circling the Acropolis and to Plaka on the other side, if you so wished to see it. I think the location is superb to see central Athens.

I liked it all. I would add ice trays to the refrigerator. The management staff was attentive. They took care of everything.

Perfectly located in a small pedestrian street, excellent restaurant („Lolos“) directly in front. Authentic less touristic neighborhood. Hosts organized a luggage storage for the departure day.
