Very quiet , peaceful, amazing ocean , garden and ocean views , felt like we were surrounded in nature . Beach was lovely and water warm and great for swimming. Nice to be able to have “a private like beach “ and walk to 2 other beaches close by . Has a beach restaurant a short walks away . We would have been happy just staying at the property and did one day and then explored other parts of the island as well . Luis and Ana were welcoming hosts and had a lovely welcome package of fruit , cookies , fresh bread , milk and coffee which got us started

We have been picked up at the airport by Luis (host of the guest house) and we got immediatly an private island tour with a lot of interesting information. Afterward we were welcome as well by his wife Ana. Both of them were directly very very symphatic! They showed us the entire guest house and explained everthing to know.
The guest house is one of the most clean and tidy accomodations I have seen, and I have seen a lot in my life! The entire house is very lovingly furnished with many details that I really appreciated. The location of the house is amazing! The terasse is huge with a pefecte view to the sea. It has an private access to a beach that is almost private.
After three days we had to go to Covid quarantaine unfortunatly becaue of a potential contact. After been quarantained Ana and Luis served us with incredible good home made lunch every day (3-4 way courses!) and went shopping for us.
Unfortunatly it was a buisness trip and no holiday, however Luis and Ana let us feel like being in holiday anyway.
I don't know how to express this excellent guest house and the unbelivleble kindly hosts. Being here for holiday will be simply a pleasure! If I could vote 11 or 12 points I would do so!
These two guys and the the accomodation surly deserve a better rating than 10!
I will come for sure to this nice spot with my familiy again and I can only strongly recommend to everybod to visit Luis and Ana.
We loved to stay here even or especially during our time in quarantaine on Santa Maria Island, Azores.

Owner met us at the airport and gave us a brief tour of the town and route to the property. Brief orientation about the property and the facilities when we arrived was excellent and very helpful. Owners were always available to answer questions, and were wonderful hosts. The property itself is great, very private, and in a gorgeous setting right on a private beach. The small town of Praia Formosa with a good restaurant is close by.
