The Posada is simple but extremely comfortable and in a great location. We were greeted warmingly and enjoyed learning about the local culture. We had the "fuerte" breakfast which was a excellent but too much for us to eat. If you are looking for luxary, this is not for you. But if you want to stay in a place that is both authentic and a tremendous value, the Posada is ideal.

This is a peaceful spot in Xilitla. Eva is very sweet and welcoming. She was always teaching us about Xilitla’s culture and promoting local communities that sell food and handicrafts. The food was delicious (definitely get the breakfast with Eva!). Jardín Huasteca Xilitla is close to the main square, yet far enough away that you don’t hear the noise.
The bathroom door was hard to close.

The location was good for visiting the city and it's 30mn away from Las Pozas (Jardín Escultórico Edward James) by walk.
The perfume smell in the room and bathroom were intoxicating us and the continental breakfast didn't meet our expectations.
