Fantastic private bungalow in amazing surroundings

Fantastic stay in a private bungalow with our own private swimmingpool. The surroundings in and out were amazing. Because of no breakfast in this hotel it was possible to order breakfast delivery to the bungalow and it was very delicious. And the breakfast was “different” than the breakfast you get at hotels and this it ment in the most positive way. Because the location of the hotel is not near the beach it is still very easy to arrange for at scooter being delivered to you in the hotel and then just drive to the beaches. We highly recommend Tiks restaurant only a few hundred meters away. They served the best food morning, lunch and dinner always with a big smile and warm welcome.

Nice, quiet, and lots of green vegetation which made for a comfortable stay

Nice room with a great pool. We were looking for a quiet place to relax, and this property offered that. Local restaurants were great, so we didn't need to go into the main town very often.

Each room/villa/ faces another across the pond. When the lights were on, you could clearly see people in the room. A privacy screen or more vegetation would help this. A little out of the main town, but taxis were available ( no Grabs (Grab is Thailand's Uber app) though).

I have left previous reviews . However i did not mention the amazing people that surround the gym , without which , would have diminished from the experience. So… Big shout to raiwai Muay Thai . Check them out for great training and lovely people . And body balance gym on the main strip . After all the excess calories a real pumping iron gym with great c v facilities upstairs .

Awesome place

For us it was the perfect place to relax. We had a bungalow which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and will clean the room every day if necessary. They will also help with all the needs you have. The hotel is very close to a very good restaurant, laundry, scooter rental, small shop and a Muay Thai place. With a scooter everything is reachable in 5 minutes (supermarket, pharmacy etc.). We would have loved to stay longer but made the mistake to book a flight ahead. We will come back. One of the best places we stayed while traveling the world.

Beautiful and relaxing

Beautiful property in a nice quiet location, wonderful attentive staff. The room had all the amenities we needed and the local restaurant a 2 minute walk away had amazing food. Also had a local laundry place about a 3 minute walk from the hotel which was useful.

A quiet oasis far from the maddening crowd

Beautiful individual villa with comfortable, clean and spacious sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. Small terrace to sit out in. Exceeded expectations. Very well maintained with tasteful furnishing, well thought-out layout and super quiet surroundings. An oasis.

You need your own transport as it is a bit out of the way (not on beach). No food and beverage facilities, although there's a good local restaurant just three minutes from hotel.

This was a dream stay, the villas and support from the staff were beyond my expectations!

I've stayed a lot in Khao lak at various properties and this stay was my best. Jo made us feel very welcome and because it was a quiet time we managed to get a room upgrade with a private pool as well. The Villa was perfect, with a nice kitchen with utensils for cooking and breakfast. The bathroom/shower was huge alongside a super comfy bed. The place is quiet as well so perfect for unwinding. The beaches are not far away either.

Staying in forest!

The property is right in forest, after a rubber estate. The room/bungalow is designed with many landscape plants and trees. It is really feel like staying in the greens. We were stucked in custom for a few hours and arriving late (after 9pm closing hours). I called the property owner and he arrived in 2 mins to help us check in. Excellent response and so helpful of him.

We are self driving with our own car. If you do not have a vehicle, can rent a motorbike from the property owner. Khao Lak is a small town and fun to travel with bike. This is not for tourist who expect happening place. Exotic Boutique is really exotic and boutique with tranquility environment.

Beautiful place

Great little resort located away from the crowds of the beach resorts. I stayed in a pool villa and it was really nice, room clean and comfortable. Kitchen was we equipped, bed was comfortable with nice bedding. Highly recommended. Thank you Jake for your hospitality.

Every thing is good but you might need a car or motorcycle to go to the beach. I do not see this as a problem it's just the way it is if you want a secluded location.

If you are looking for a cozy corner for a quiet relaxing holiday, then this is definitely the place for you! I rested with my wife in a bungalow with its own pool, the description and photos are absolutely true. Cozy green area, the whole hotel is almost in the jungle. The staff and especially the owner, Jake, are friendly and responsive, they help very quickly with all small domestic issues. In the house and in the kitchen there is everything for a comfortable stay and cooking. Cleaning daily no complaints. It was not the first time we rested in Khao Lak and lived in many places. This is probably the best place we've ever been to!

Fantastic villa in quiet location

We liked the swimming pool and lovely exotic garden. Each villa was private, with its own entrance. Villa very well equipped, proper kitchen, lovely real coffee. Bed was comfy and clean as well as the bathroom - spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful, treating us with fruit from the garden. Location suited us as it was not far by car to the beaches that we liked. We will definitely return here in future visits.

Aivan täydellinen paratiisi! Ihana, tilava villa omalla uima-altaalla. Olohuone jonka yhteydessä keittiötaso josta löytyi kaikki tarvittava paistinpannuista lähtien. Makuutila erikseen josta näkymä omalle pienelle altaalle. Huone ja allas siivottiin päivittäin, vettä, kahvia/teetä sai joka päivä. Lähistöllä pari ravintolaa ja pieni puoti. Huoneeseen sai tilattua myös aamupalalautasen niin halutessaan. Alueella oli hiljaista ja rauhallista. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Tänne tulemme uudestaan!

Das war die Beste Unterkunft auf unserer gesamten Thailand Rundreise. Sehr sehr schöne Bungalows mit eigenem Pool und super nette Vermieter, die einem bei jedem Problem helfen. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und wunderschön. Man kann fußläufig zwei Restaurants erreichen, die auch lecker sind. Beim Frühstück muss man nur viel Geduld mitbringen. immer wieder gerne!

Für uns war alles super. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass dort kein Grab fährt, aber dafür kann man sich günstig einen Roller leihen.

Traumhafte Villa mit dem Pool, grosse Terrasse zum Frühstücken und sonnen! Voll ausgestattete Küche mit allem, was man braucht. Sehr schönes Appartement, grosses Badezimmer, die Lage ist sehr ruhig und zum entspannen 🖤 das war ein Traum, wir können es herzlichst empfehlen. Auch die Hosts sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Beim Check in haben wir direkt Roller gemietet, der wurde uns innerhalb von 10 min ins Hotel geliefert. In der Nähe gibt es schöne Strände, auch der Nacht Markt ist ca. 6 min mit dem Roller. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen😊

Excellent séjour ! Jake nous a accueilli parfaitement. Le logement est magnifique et la piscine privée le rend exceptionnel. Il est au calme et excentre mais quelques restaurants sont à proximité. Laoleu est d’ailleurs un petit paradis où l’on mange très bien. Bravo !

Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man etwas mobil ist

Super schönes sauberes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Es wurden uns ein Shuttle vom Flughafen angeboten und 2 Roller wurden zur Unterkunft gebracht.

Die Anlage ist etwas abseits, aber sehr ruhig. Mit dem Roller kommt man überall hin und gleich in der Nähe ist ein kleines aber sehr gutes Lokal (Tiki)
