Comfortable and with a refresh could be quite special.

Reception was open and they had contacted us prior to arrival to confirm timing. staff were friendly and helpful despite the miss communication on the number of beds.

Facilities could definitely do with a refresh. Shower ran out of water and while functional it really needs a proper shower head. spa bath jets were full of rust and needed a clean out.

Personal hotel with a good location. Breakfast was an adventure: you fill up a form, what you want, e.g. scrambled eggs. Well I ate omelet 3 days and now I wanted else, I got an omelet. 😄

The sewer in the bathrooms gave bad odour. Obviously there was no water lock in the sewer.

Nice and quiet, walking distance to the beach. very clean bathroom. Staff were attentive, English not great but made a real effort to communicate.

The breakfast was ok. Would be better with some fresh fruit or Thai food rather than a western style breakfast.

NICE VILLA WITH SUPER HOSTS.

The place is wonderful,Located in the very calm area of Khao Lak.The Beach of Bangniang is ca 300 meters away.There are few Resturants and pubs not far away from the Villa.The hosts fantastic.Very helpful and friendly.The Pool is nice and wide enough for few peoples to swimm at the same time.There are on 6 rooms at the villa which make it very familar.Lad and Franky are hard workers.They try to give the best to make us feel at home away from Home.Thank you so much.We will definitely be back for a longer time next year..

Location and staff were very obliging and friendly. We upgraded to Penthouse and owner gave us an awesome deal.

The bed was like sleeping on granite therefore couldn't get a decent night's sleep. We took mattress from outside day bed to put under sheet to soften it. Suggest they invest in some soft mattress toppers.

Enttäuschend!

Wir hatten ein Apt. mit 2 Doppelzimmern (2 180cm-Betten)und Spa-Badewanne im Erdgeschoss neben dem Pool für 2 Nächte ca. 6 Wochen im Voraus online gebucht (Room 4) und unsere Ankunft angekündigt. Als wir am 1.1.26 nach Anbruch der Dunkelheit ankamen, warteten wir 15 min an der Rezeption (Klingel war nutzlos), bis der Angestellte mit dem Moped ankam. Er schien trotz Booking.com-App auf dem Handy keine Ahnung zu haben, dass wir erwartet wurden und fotografierte zudem unseren Buchungsausdruck für die Villaleitung in Phuket ab (was uns nur einmal vorher am 31.12. passiert ist, weil dort die Buchung unerwartet storniert wurde, aber wir bekamen trotzdem das gebuchte Apt.). Er führte uns zu einem Apt. im ersten Stock des Haupthauses (Room 5) mit 2 Doppelzimmern mit 150-160cm-Betten, Dusche/ WC.

Das (teurere) Apt. (Room 4), das wir gemietet hatten, war mit 2 Männern besetzt auf unsere Kosten! In Room 5 (über der Lobby) stank das Bad (in der hinteren Ecke befand sich ein Entlüftungsrohr der Jauchegrube). Erst nach meiner Intervention über Booking.com durften wir am nächsten Vormittag nach der Abreise der Vornutzer in das gebuchte DZ-Apt. für 1 Nacht umziehen. In der Rezeption hängt ein Whiteboard mit der Einteilung Raum - Personenzahl - Zeitraum - Übersicht (wie wir es auch in anderen thailändisch geführten Hotels und Apt.-Unterkünften gesehen haben), das NICHT genutzt wird. Die Angestellten erstellen keine Liste mit den eingehenden Buchungen, sodass sie nicht wissen, wer wann kommt. Es ist offensichtlich nicht das erste Mal, dass man nicht das Apt. bekommt, das man gebucht hat. Freunden von mir ging es vor einiger Zeit ebenfalls so. Zudem ist es die einzige Unterkunft unserer Reise, die damit droht, dass man die Buchungsdifferenz zahlen muss, wenn man ein Upgrade bekommt (was sie natürlich bei den beiden Männern vor deren Abreise nicht gemacht haben). Aber bei einem Downgrade wird die Differenz nicht erstattet.

les responsables de la villa Chaya étaient très sympathiques et serviables malgré le fait qu'ils ne parlaient ni français ni anglais! La terrasse est très agréable! L'emplacement idéal proche des plages et commerces sans être trop près.

La réservation a été annulée 24h avant notre arrivée! Sous prétexte de travaux, apparemment de la peinture et du carrelage, le prix a été augmenté de 20% par rapport à notre réservation initiale effectuée 9 mois plus tôt! La description ne précise pas que la grande chambre n'a aucune intimité car il faut la traverser pour aller dans la 2° chambre. La coin toilette date d'une autre époque avec une cabine de douche dont les portes ont disparu et ont été remplacées par un rideau plastique mais surtout malgré le démontage complet de la douche une atroce odeur d'égouts a empuantie l'atmosphère pendant tout notre séjour!
