Comfortable cozy chalet

Absolutely amazing place to stay at. I am coming back every year. Host was great and very responsive, we had the best time and barely wanted to leave for outdoor activities because of how comfortable it was.

A five-star cabin in a beautiful, peaceful location. Highly recommended!

The cabin was really lovely, and looked just like the pictures. It's in an ideal location, close enough to the slopes, restaurants and supermarket, but far enough way for some peace and quiet. The cabin was warm, clean and cosy. We were a group of 8, and there was plenty of room for all of us. Great communication with the hosts, they even messaged us tourist information prior to our stay and were able to offer advice on ski hire etc. We had a really late arrival, and the hosts were kind enough to provide us with a few groceries so that we had something for breakfast. We particularly loved the log fire, and gorgeous view from the veranda. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas break!

Very cosy, typical Finnish wooden chalet. Nicely decorated. Perfect location.

There was hardly wardrobe space so we could not empty our 3 suitcases. Some of the equipment like dishwasher & wasmachine are to be replaced.

Family Stay for Pre-Christmas Fun

Very homely comfortable cabin. Lots of kitchen equipment, good TV with Netflix. Very warm, comfortable beds (we were 4 adults and 2 small children) and I think the space was just right for that number, maybe up to 8 or 9 would be a squeeze.

The location is quite residential and without a car (and not being there to ski) the ski bus and gondola is a little bit limiting to get to the village for supplies (but then you have the peace and quiet of it)

Lapland is always a special place, very different experience from Alps. Highly recommended.

We have stayed in Ruka before, but this small mökki is really well located for family downhill skiing. Basically a walking distance from the slopes and family park for smaller kids, although we preferred to take a car to a parking lot.
