Easy walk 5-10min to the chairlifts and gondola - no need for a car! Also a few restaurants very close by. The better side of town to stay on as it is very peaceful Warm and cosy home - really felt like a home for us for our week in Ruka! Great sauna and heating cabinet also!

Absolutely amazing place to stay at. I am coming back every year. Host was great and very responsive, we had the best time and barely wanted to leave for outdoor activities because of how comfortable it was.

I found the host of the property to be very helpful and accommodating, and responded to a number of queries very promptly. The location was excellent, and the property was comfortable with plenty of space.

The cabin was really lovely, and looked just like the pictures. It's in an ideal location, close enough to the slopes, restaurants and supermarket, but far enough way for some peace and quiet. The cabin was warm, clean and cosy. We were a group of 8, and there was plenty of room for all of us. Great communication with the hosts, they even messaged us tourist information prior to our stay and were able to offer advice on ski hire etc. We had a really late arrival, and the hosts were kind enough to provide us with a few groceries so that we had something for breakfast. We particularly loved the log fire, and gorgeous view from the veranda. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas break!
