On my arrival, I had not received the entry code to open the front door due to an incorrect phone number. On phoning, Mr. Arthur arrived within 5 minutes and let me in, then took me to my room and explained that my room door and the main door were opened by an allocated numbers code only for me. All doors had their own keypads. My room was en-suite and was nice and clean with fresh bed-linen and soft towels. Old fashioned windows with wooden shutters looked out onto the main road. floorboards were old fashioned and a little creaky. Also a very efficient air-conditioning unit and a small TV with numerous channels. The toilet area was very clean but small. So was the shower cabinet. My room was on the first floor together with another 3 plus a shared bathroom. Upstairs was a shared fully stocked kitchen available at all times plus more rooms. The residence is located in a good position, close to the main tourist area. A small supermarket is 3 minutes away and so are various cafés and snack bars.

The stairs were narrow with loose carpeting in places. Floorboards were on the old side and creaky. The place was very busy proving that it is popular. I did not hear a lot of noise from the other rooms or corridor, nor much from the street. The front door and sign blend in with the neighboring buildings, so you have to really look for them.

Infelizmente a hóspede antes de mim era fumadora e o quarto tinha ainda cheiro a tabaco as funcionárias são espectaculares e tinham tentado eliminar odor. É pena que há hóspedes que não sabem respeitar as normas.

La ubicación, la habitación.

Las escaleras eran muy empinadas y estrechas. EN la reserva, se liaron y nos dieron una habitación que no estaba hecha, pero acudieron rápido para solucionar el problema, nos facilitaron el código para otra, aunque tuvimos que esperar 30 min.

This doesn't really look like a hostel or hotel or what ever. I would say it's more a airbnb. There is no reception or no way at all to come inside before the check in time (which was at 5pm). So I couldn't just come and leave my backpack on the morning. I had to do the stairs to the sanctuary with my 7kg backpack.... and I think I m lucky enough that I didn't have a suitcase... The noise is an enormous problem. You can hear EVERYTHING literally. Even the TV, the snore, everything. So it feels like you sleeping in dorm... This is not good value for the price. The confort and service are oj, but not for this price. For that, I would pay 30€ at the most...
