The location was perfect and this building, which dates back to the 13th century, is loaded with charm. I really loved my room and the rooftop has a stunning view of the medina. We sat and sketched there each night. Fes is a delight and this Riad shares the spirit of this old city.

Classic Moroccan small riad in the medina. Very quiet, attentive staff - the man spoke good English
the extra bed was very narrow

The property has a beautiful interior and is located inside the medina. When we arrived, Abdul showed us how to navigate ti get outside the medina. Abdul helped us with booking a taxi when we left, and walked us to our taxi. There is a beautiful Irwin from the rooftop (he is working on renovating the rooftop).
Renovations are in progress, but I think they should focus on electrical, plumbing, and AC upgrades. In my first room, water was pouring out of the air conditioner, leaving a huge puddle on the floor - it was right above a light as well, so this seems like a fire hazard. The room smells very musty.
