The staff at the Mariner made our family 3 day holiday complete.The accommodation was spotless and comfortable.There was an excellent choice of menu with specials changing nightly. There was consideration shown to one of my daughter’s allergies to accommodate her with specials changing nightly meals.There was consideration bar had a fine selection of ales and wines.All in all I would not hesitate to recommend The Mariner to anyone wanting a holiday in this beautiful part of Scotland

We recently enjoyed a wonderful weekend at The Mariner Hotel in Kippford, and it was truly a stay to remember. This charming, family-run hotel is set in a beautiful and peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome that immediately made us feel at home. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable — we felt thoroughly spoiled throughout our stay.
The food was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavour, adding to the overall enjoyment of our visit.
The combination of stunning surroundings, outstanding hospitality, and top-quality accommodation made this a perfect weekend retreat. We would highly recommend The Mariner Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with a personal touch.
