The apartment (number 31) is on the top floor and is located overlooking Santa Catarina street, which is one of the main shopping districts in the area. You will get a variety of street artists playing and singing so enjoy the free entertainment with the balcony doors open or sitting outside! There are numerous places for obtaining groceries and there are many places for dining. One of the main outdoor markets is just around the corner. The small balcony faces west so it gets great morning and early afternoon sun which is perfect for the morning coffee, some gentle sun as well as hanging clothes to dry. The apartment is set up well for 2 people whether for a short or long stay. The bed was comfy and firm but a bit smaller than we are used to. TV had a number of English stations though we didn't watch it very much. The washing machine is also a dryer if want to use it. Rebecca was always in touch and responded quickly to any question or request. We would recommend staying here.
A few things that are part of an old apartment is #31 is on the top floor with 65 steps and no elevator. This is something that can't be changed so is for awareness only for travellers. The water heater is on the smaller side so you need to wait for it to heat up again before using, no big deal but again just awareness. The bed is a bit small by North American standards so if you are good with a bed smaller than a queen, you will be OK. The wifi covers the entire building and was not very fast so if anything could be improved, this would be it.

Great location that was convenient to everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we return to Porto. Rebecca is a great host.
The stairs would be hard for some people especially if you had a lot of luggage. We had hand luggage so it wasn't an issue.

Lovely interior, nice street views. Warm and cozy. Soft bedding.Friendly staff. Centre of town. Good communication.
Nothing really. Stairs, pillows could be better. Not all rooms have terraces, but no 22 had lovely juliet balcony.
