Lovely warm accommodation. Bed perfectly comfortable. Would stay here again.
Location was perfect for us in that it was near our son's house in the village... Nearby sourroundings are lovely, quiet countryside with lots of nice walks. nearby towns a short drive away for shopping and cafés/restaurants.
It would have been really nice to find a few tea bags and a little milk as we arrived late into the accommodation. There was a coffee maker and coffee filters but no coffee. I would gladly have paid a little extra for a little food basked. Bring your own shampoo btw!

Gorgeous apartment, fantastic hosts, great location, fabulous for families - would highly recommend
Great location for visiting the Black Forest and not too far from Basel airport. 5 mins from the motorway to get us travelling in all directions. Not many shops / eateries in the village itself, a lovely bakers in next village though. We arrived on a Sunday and didn't realise all shops would be shut so struggled that first night - Sebastian, the host was amazing - phoning in a takeaway pizza order for us and helping us get drinks. Sebastian's english was amazing which was essential as my German was non-existant. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and the kids loved their bedroom up in the loft space. We had everything we needed in the property, great parking area and the sauna was an added bonus. Although an additional charge, very reasonable for the facilities and space.
Half the accommodation had to be paid to the hosts in advance in Euro's. I found this very hard to do from the UK and a UK bank account. An online card payment scheme to pay this would be so much easier for UK customers. My kids were older and were OK in the loft space, but I would suggest maybe a stairgate could be used over the gap to make it secure for younger children.

Heerlijk verblijf in prachtig appartement, schoon en voorzien van alle luxe!
Het appartement was simpelweg geweldig. Ruim, luxe, schoon, mooi en ook nog eens heerlijk rustig. Ook het vele contact met host Engelbert was erg prettig en ook nog eens leuk! Perfecte uitvalbasis voor bezoek aan Freiburg, Colmar, Brisach, Mulhouse, Staufen etc etc
