Perfect stay in Llangollen

The townhouse was very comfortable and warm,which we needed as sub zero temperatures. It has an amazing location in the centre of Llangollen, and next to the river Dee at the back. Bethan was an excellent host and gave us all the information we needed about the property and beautiful area. We went on some wonderful walks and covered nearly 30 miles in 3 days. We had such an amazing time. Parking was no problem and everything worked well. Thank you Bethan

Perfect place to stay in a lovely part of Wales

Location in the town was amazing (walking distance to a host of amenities). The owner was great in their communication and allowed us to enjoy our time in Llangollen with plenty of recommendations (would confirm The Corn Mill, Gaels Wine Bar and Bistro Lafant were also excellent). The small welcome packs in the place were a lovely touch too.

Just the weather meant we couldn't enjoy the terrace down on the riverside.

Great location for a mini break!

The location is great! Everything was in walking distance from the property. Apartment was lovely, beautiful bathroom and loved the mirror on the stairs! There wasn't any noise really from outside it was fairly quiet and as the bedroom is up top you don't hear anything.

The bed could have been bigger, a double for two adults, one of which is nearly 6ft, just wasn't as spacious as we were used to at home. There isn't much natural light as the windows have shutters and the windows at the front don't open far so not much natural air coming in the rooms so can feel a bit stuffy with the heating on.

Enjoyable weekend stay in town centre location.

Excellent location in the town centre. Particularly liked that a parking permit was available which allowed free parking in the nearby car park. Tea, coffee, milk was available which enabled us to have a cup of tea on arrival. Would recommend.

Lovely stay and managed to enjoy the secret garden in November.

We liked the location and the secret garden. A difference the quirkiness of the property.

The kitchen was always cold but we chose not to use the heaters in the cupboard. The double bed was on the small side - just personal preference as a bigger bed will not fit in the bedroom.

Relaxing visit to a beautiful apartment in Llangollen

The location is ideal, close to everything we need. The accommodation is beautiful and very well maintained, alongside the River Dee. The owner was very approachable and helpful. Instructions were straightforward, and there was plenty of information on places to visit and recommendations of where to eat if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.

What an amazing find! Absolutely fantastic place. If you ever see this property available don’t hesitate just book it! Location right in the middle of everything you need. A lovely few wine bars and pubs opposite and in walking distant to canoeing, the river and canal trips. Communication from host was amazing.

Townhouse - lovely, clean, comfortable

Inflexibility in check in times. Being rushed by the host to leave despite clarity that we would be leaving at 11am due to a disability. Had a lovely time but the approach really took the shine off our stay.

LOVED our visit! The secret garden was just idyllic and we spent most of our time out there ! All rooms really clean and well presented with good quality furniture and decorated really tastefully. Communication with Bethan was excellent before and during our stay. Parking permit was extremely helpful. Spoilt for choice for pubs, restaurants and cafes on the same road and round the corner. Bedroom was very quiet and comfortable. Perfect location for relaxing or exploring local area

Stunning place to stay, perfect location too!!

We absolutely loved our stay, the first night I stayed with my daughter and her friend and we watched The Script at The Pavilion, the second and third night me and my husband stayed and watched Human League at The Pavilion. The Townhouse has everything you need, Bethan was fantastic and very speedy at responding to any questions we had before we stayed.

Great river views, comfortable bedroom, well equipped kitchen but noisy at night and mind your head.

Very comfortable and well presented cottage/apartment. Lovely bathroom with good quality toiletries, comfortable bed with good quality bed linen/pillows. Well-equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery and cutlery and basics provided - bread, butter, milk, coffee, tea, sugar (very rare these days!). Great summerhouse outdoors which leads to a small patio area with comfortable chairs and table directly looking over the river. The parking permit provided was very useful.

Due to the central location the living room was very noisy at night. The ceiling height in the rooms is fine but between rooms, in doorways, is very low and we spent a lot of time hunched over. The staircase from the living room to the kitchen is very steep, twisty and very low ceilinged - you have to hang on to the banisters to get safely down.

Gorgeous, clean, quiet apartment in the centre of Llangollen, overlooking the canal.

The apartment was absolutely gorgeous as it overlooks the canal in Llangollen. You can sit out on the balcony and just take in the beautiful calm surroundings. Beth the host was wonderful and sent very helpful instructions on how to locate the apartment, where to park and left a welcome package in the kitchen. If you had any issues or wanted to ask any questions Beth was available to answer any queries and replies very promptly.

Even though it was old on outside it was amazing inside. So much natural light and very clean which was a nice change. All the furnishings were of high standard. Stairs weren’t a problem to us.

Hidden Gem

The location was excellent for car parking town centre. It’s a great apartment with lots of space. The lounge and bedroom are more than an ample size. Down stairs is a large kitchen with everything you would need. There’s a secret garden and decking overlooking the river Dee.
