The Acorn -open fire,spa bath,dog friendly

Location and clean.

Needed air freshener and Glen 20 to get rid of odour.

Location and garden. Character.

Dog Hair on everything including bed. Despite owners request not to allow dogs on furniture. Bed and bedding needs refreshing. Kitchen in need of a deep clean especially very old oily range hood.

The property was amazing, well designed for winter warmth and relaxation. A fire is always lovely. The sun radiates through the windows in the morning. It was a lovely couple of days

Everything was very good

The house is very cosy and the garden is beautiful,just a short walk to the town centre where you can grab a coffee or a meal. The host was ready to fix our problem with the heating.

Unfortunately when we arrived it was very cold in the house, the heating took a while to get the place warm, we ended up having to use the fire place, but the smell is not so bearable ( the smell remained us of smoked sausages) This was our second stay here and we were a Little disappointed with the overall cleaness of the house and the robes were already used as we used them to keep us warm. The hot water bottle was a plus to have. We missed out on the scones and sourdough bread as this time around we got a baker's delight loft and two blackberry twirls that unfortunately weren't baked the same day. The vacuum has wires showing, this needs seriously replacing, or could cause a serious injury. The tv doesn't work properly unless you watch Netflix.So overall pretty disappointing.
