We'd stay there again any time.

The location is great, the cabin is warm and has everything you need. And people are friendly.

The knives in the kitchen should be sharpened and the shower keeps changing between warm and cold. My husband said it is rather dark and unfortunately the cable of the portable light wasnt long enough.

Lovey few days

The property is a little dated but definitely an authentic feel . The location is fabulous and the owner/staff arranged activities for us. The ice fishing was fantastic and the food at the restaurant just down the road he owns is amazing. Loved our stay here

Very relaxing and private with tons of facilities in the cabin.

Amazing place, very private and a ton of facilities. The host we met by accident, since we stopped at his gas station / restaurant (welcome to Finland). You won't hear or see him and he won't respond to your messages, unless he seems it important (that is a good thing, we came to relax and enjoy nature). The location is located about a kilometre of the 'main' road, so you can explore Finnish Lapland from here.

We loved it and mind you, the host rushed the cleaning for us, since we wandered into his place very tired. So it could have been a little cleaner, but that's it, it was clean enough.

Good experience

Enjoyed the serene environment, the fireplace and the boat ride. Inclusion of the boat on the lake was a very good addition.

The vessels in the kitchen were dirty and old. There was a bright street light on during the third night (15.10) which was very irritating when we were trying to get a light-pollution free view of the sky and northern lights.

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings

Amazing place in the woods! Really large and homely. We enjoyed under a peaceful evening here as a stop-off on our way travelling to Rovaniemi. Perfect place to relax after a long drive. We enjoyed using the boat on the lake and sitting around the camp fire outside.

Reconciliation with the Finnish way of life on the last day here :)

Pretty forest hut in the middle of nowhere, on a lake beach, with sauna. After 3 weeks of cycling through Finland this is my last and best accommodation, and I used the possibility to swim in the lake during sauna sessions. Stylish, original hut in perfect loneliness, strategically well situated near a road section which you pass through on nearly all travels in northern Lapland. Thank you!

I managed to wrest myself out from the narrow bed room - it worked ;-)

Cozy well equipped cabin next to a lake

The location was excellent and also the cabin was well equipped with everything - private sauna, electric heating and a fireplace. It was a cozy cabin in the middle of a forest next to a lake ..ideal to relax and be off grid. The hosts are very helpful - always available on call if you need something..

The internet could have been better and also the bed slightly firmer (to be fair - all beds we had in Finland were similar) - however these are minor points

Very quiet and private beautiful cabin by the lake. Wonderful nature around. The house was clean and had everything necessary for life. You can park right in front of the door. It is also possible to grill and have a sauna. I definitely recommend this accommodation to people who enjoy silence and nature.

Great overnight stay

Great cabin alongside the lake with access to a rowing boat if you wanted. It was warm and comfortable and even had a sauna inside that you could use. Quiet, peaceful location.

A beautiful quiet location and in the morning, we woke to see a couple of deer walking on the frozen lake just in front of the cabin…Amazing. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The place was spotless. The sauna was a delight. The only minor issue was the bedroom was small for a double so no room to walk around the bed!

Lovely stay with sauna and lake in Northern Lapland

Beautiful, secluded location but very close to the main road and 20 min from grocery stores and Inari. The cabin was super clean, with adorable details like lights and decoration. Very cosy, sauna, fireplace, cold lake swim, repeat. We had a lovely stay, kiitos!

Fantastic stay for winter enjoying lappish nature. Children had one of their best holiday ever.

Superb location. Nearby lake, building iglo's, a tipi provided, lots of space and room, perfect for children. Very well insulated house. Easy to dry clothes. Accessible with a normal small car even when there is lots of snow. You can walk/run around the lake or on the frozen lake.

Nice spacious place. Well equipped. Good location next to frozen lake. Bon fire place there was great. We lit one easily and had wine. Seating areas are nice. You can park your car at door step. Good privacy.

Paradise for couple in a very cosy cottage next by the lake and quiet

If paradise for silence has a name, this is the place !!! The cottage is just in front of a lake, lost into the woods. The host is so nice, she could answer and help us for our questions. The cottage is very cosy, comfy, clean and well equiped. Parking place next to the cottage. We could see northern lights and reindeers by the lake. We can only recommand this place if you are looking for peacefull and cocooning. Perfect for couples !

Just an amazing place! Cozy, clean cottage, where you'll find anything you need! Beautiful quiet surrounding, most of all we liked the fire place in the in- and outside and the Sauna. Everything was just perfect and we would definitly come again.

Maybe the instructions to find the cottage and the check in conditions could have been a bit better communicated before arrival, but thats all.

Everything was perfect. Very beautiful, large and cozy house located in a quiet area on the lakeside, just 500 meters from the road E75. The host was super-friendly and helpful. We even had a chance to sit at night in a local "kota", with an open fire and fantastic view on northern lights and their reflection in the lake water. Another pleasant surprise was a morning rowboat ride.

Nothing to complain about. Perhaps the electric sauna is too small for such a large house with 5 bedrooms: it has a max capacity for 3 people at a time.
