Casa de Manteigas

This was an excellent, updated 4 bed/2 bath apartment in the heart of Manteigas! Lina, the host, was easy to communicate with; it's clear she takes pride in this family property and sharing it with others. The apartment was very clean and spacious. There is a short set of stairs to walk up to the apartment. One bedroom and one bath is on the main floor and then 3 bedrooms/1 bath is on the second floor. We were a family of 5 adults and found this more than enough space to enjoy our stay! There is also free street parking in front of the apartment. The town was very walkable with ATM, cafes, and grocery nearby. English is not common, but we did not have any issues communicating or getting around. We highly recommend eating at Duval restaurant! The food and service were incredible with delicious local wine. We also did tour at the Burel Wool Factory (drive or a 20 min down/uphill walk from the apt) - this is a MUST DO! And we purchased some beautiful wool coats from the Ecola Wool Factory next door. We also went on a couple of phenomenal hikes! We would LOVE to come back to spend more time at Manteigas and will definitely stay with Lina again!

Casa muito limpa, as pessoas muito solícitas. Casa muito aconchegante, deixaram aquecidinha antes de chegarmos, tudo muito agradável. Eu e minha família amamos a estadia, deu vontade de morar nesse lugar. A Sandra, nossa anfitriã, 5 estrelas.
