Ghastly! It was so sad to see the nhomestay so run down. We had stayed there 3 times before when old

There was nnothing to like. The place was run down, there were many strange people who were not guests hanging around and the owner's son just sat in the restaurant and smoked.

It was very sad to see the place so run down and neglected. We were in one of their 'best' rooms and there were many minor things that needed repairing but had not been cared for. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the pillows were like slabs of concrete and the bathroom was smelly. We were meant to stay 2 nights bet left after one night. We asked for a refund and were refused.

We will be back

We are just back from Lovina Beach and stayed at this wonderful home stay! We stayed in the deluxe and the room was huge, very clean and airconditioned! Wifi was 100%! The restaurant is right on the beach and the owners can arrange Dolphin Watching, snorkeling and fishing. The owners Ketut and Iluh are wonderful, friendly hosts and go out of there way to make you welcome! Iluh cooked all our meals for the 2 days and the food was delicious and inexpensive! The location for the water sports is ideal and the soothing ambiance watching all the activities from the restaurant is a wonderful experience! They do not provide shampoo or soaps but they can be purchased from the many little shops surrounding the homestay! Very child friendly, although we were an elderly couple without children, we enjoyed watching another family’s children swimming in the very calm waters! Highly recommend this small family owned hotel!

The most amazing location, right on the beach, with bar and restaurant serving great food and Bintang :) !!! Ilu is the most amazing cook!!! :) Staff all very friendly and we loved our stay here; will definitely come back.

The only problem, our room (upstairs) was very bright at night and there was some traffic noise, so I didn't sleep very well. Could definitely do with better room darkening curtains- next time we will choose a room downstairs, they look quieter and darker. The toilet was also broken and the seat was held on with a bit of rope- he he! The room was also very plain and white- no colour, not even a picture on the wall- could've been a bit more comfortable with at least picture. The lounge on the verandah outside was also broken and not usable and the glass top of the outdoor coffee table was quite badly smashed.

A Homestay to Call Home

The staff was very pleasant. They went above and beyond. The restaurant was very cozy and looking at the beach while you are dining. The food was great and its very convenient to have a restaurant right where you stay. The price for the food was ok. The room was comfy and clean enough and good air conditioning there.

The blanket was just a sheet. It can be very cold.

Ketut and his family were lovely and helped us with anything we needed. The food was delicious and the laundry service was also very good. We booked two tours through here and both were great. The rooms are big and clean. Location is right on the beach, perfect for sunsets. Definitely stay here when in Lovina!!

the owner and all the personal is so nice! i had left my phone in the taxi when we arrived and they helped me for over an hour and they drove us to the taxi. they have their own tours and they are so nice. the owner’s brother in law drove us to Ubud after our stay here and he was to nice, they are the sweetest people ever!!

the room and bathroom are enormous and very clean. To sit with a Bintang and watch the ocean is beautiful.

The shower was hot but the shower head was leaky so there was no pressure.

Awesome staff and beach views

The staff at Gede are great and super welcoming! We had many beers with these guys and it felt like home..also we hired a driver for a tour (manni) and he was also a great guy and was very reasonably priced. The food at the gede warung is also very tasty and cheap! Hopefully he back again one day 🙏 Thanks Jack & Jenny

Excellent Homestay with Good Vibes!

The Rooms were like Villa type extremely spacious and can easily accommodate 3 Adults with 1 Double Bed and 1 Single Bed. AC was in good working condition. Bathrooms were also spacious, neat and clean. Homestay is right next to the seashore. I had a great time partying with Guest House Owner's son Ketut, a guy from New Zealand and amany other friendly people who were taking care of this property. One of the unforgettable stay in my Life. Got opportunity to meet an old couple who stayed in the same property 20 years back and they were sharing their experience how this property had changed over time. Hence this Homestay is extremely special. I got a very good deal for both Dolphin Watching and Snorkelling tour for an affordable price. Pro-tip: This Property offers one of the best Sunset View from the Seashore as you step outside of their restaurant.

Simple accommodations with all the basics covered. The family is lovely and their warm spirited hospitality is exceptional. They offer a delicious variety of Balinese and Western cuisines to suit every taste. As the family are true locals they can provide you with many resources to help you explore Lovina and surroundings, including fishing, snorkelling, dolphin viewing and much more. Do yourself a favour and take advantage of the local culture that this stay can offer.

The beach area does not look anything like the pictures. The sea is there but you cannot actually lay down on the beach. No place for a towel or a deckchair. I was a bit upset as I had booked this property for its beach area.

Family owned business, right on the beach front, for 10-14usd per night you could not ask for more, I paid a few dollars extra for the newer room which was fully renovated, spotless clean, brand new aircon and very comfy bed. the location is a bit out of Lovina main area, and not too many restaurants around so I just ate at the home stay, delicious well priced meals. if you want to get away from all the tourists and support a local family who have their own boat parked at your doorstop for the dolphin tour then it’s the place to go🐬 and don’t forget to go next door and ask for Ulih to see the unique and natural necklace pendants she has hand crafted from shells and sand.

The location is very relaxed and chill. Each bungalow has a patio. There is a restaurant on site. This is located directly on the beach. Hosts were so friendly. For the price it’s good value.

Some mosquitoes did get in our room. Sheets and towels need to be updated. Breakfast was small.

Amazing staff, genuine and welcoming. They know their guests very well and do everything they can to keep you comfortable. I was invited by Gede and the staff to every occasion and was catered to whenever needed.

Meerblick zum entspannen und runter kommen

Der Blick auf das Meer bei einer Tasse Kaffee oder einem leckeren Essen war perfekt. Man konnte hier sehr zu Ruhe kommen und der Besitzer ist äußerst nett, hilfsbereit und nicht aufdringlich. Wir konnten einen Roller leihen und uns wurde ein Fahrer zur nächsten Unterkunft organisiert. Das Zimmer hat ausreichend viel Platz und ein großes sauberes Badezimmer (nur der Klodeckel war locker :D)

Leider gibt es in der Umgebung ein paar aufdringliche Verkäufer, wenn man diesen aber ausweicht hat man hier einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Il est possible de partir de l hôtel en bateau pour voir les dauphins. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et serviables.

L hôtel est très bruyant (beaucoup de circulation), le mobilier est très abîmé et la literie en fin de vie. Cet hôtel n'est pas entretenu depuis des années. Ceci explique le prix. La plage n'est pas propre (beaucoup de plastiques), peu large et surtout il n'est pas vraiment possible de se baigner car c'est'est un port. Les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité des lieux.
