Other than the young receptionist, Joycee, who tries too hard to portray a 'little girl personality' and the other women with permanently stern faces, Joycee was dismissive and annoying. The other women weren't rude, they just portray a bad attitude and grumpy demeanor - maybe they're overworked. The rest of the staff was smiling and pleasant all the time, and I enjoyed seeing their jovial faces, especially in and around the restaurant. The flowering trees lining the pool are beautiful, and the gardener took pride in looking after them every day. I loved the vegetable garden and watching the garden workers. I was loaned a mat for morning yoga, and the yoga and swim community members are lovely and helpful.

The condition of things was not well kept. They hadn't installed wifi until the second day, and on the fourth day, it decided to go offline again in the afternoon. Electricity went out a few times every afternoon. The refrigerator is covered in mildew. I asked if it could be cleaned. A person started to clean it, but Joycee stopped him, saying it was just stained. I didn't feel safe storing food in it. The bathroom rug might have never been cleaned. I moved it aside because I didn't want to step on it with clean feet. I think the mattress must be very old because it is compressed to half its original thickness in the middle. Overall, I really enjoyed the community feeling of the gym patrons, but I think that says more about the kindness and hospitality of Indore people than a reflection of the resort. It feels for the expense of the room that they could deep clean and replace things.

The area where the hotel is really good and happening. You can walk around near the hotel even in the night.
