The host was very polite and friendly, assisted with the arrangements and suggestions. There is a nice sea view from the garden as well as into the mountains from the parking/roof of the house. Additionally I find it nice that there is a possibility to grill in the garden. Internet connection was good as well, which is not always the case at the rented apartments. The parking was available but it was extremely difficult to use it: narrow entrance and direct exit to the heavily occupied road without any space between the fence and the road.

It was really difficult to get asleep in this apartment. First of all, it has windows only in the living room and in one out of 3 bedrooms. The rest: kitchen, bathrooms and remaining bedrooms (one of them, however, had tiny window, see pictures) have no windows at all. Result - very hot was in the apartment. Only living room had air conditioning which is way not enough. Secondly, there is a beach club next to the apartment. They start partying at 21-22:00 and it lasts at least until 01:30 AM. Once a week, I do not remember exactly when, but either on Friday or Saturday, they had fireworks at 24:00. Writing to the host didn’t solve the situation. The apartment definitely requires the renovation and thorough cleaning. Some walls were dirty; the sockets are broken; layer of dust on the fans with corrosion (are noisy and do not really help with cooling down the rooms) and finally – the electricity in the apartment can disappear. Then you have to go up to the street and turn the respective switchers on. It happened with us every second day. The location has nice natural surrounding. But if you plan to go to the beach you will have two opportunities. 1. Go to the main large sandy beach in Mondello, takes roughly 15 min walking along the road without pedestrian zone (the cars will pass by you centimeters away). And you will end up at the beach with only few meters available for public usage. The rest is surrounded with fence and occupied by clubs (see pictures as well). 2. The second option is really close, you have to pass through the club mentioned above (had to explain every time where I go and why am I allowed to go there). You will end up at the rocks, there is plenty of broken glass and you can easily get damaged by the stones when getting into/out of the water. There are no supermarkets in a walking distance unless you consider walking 3 km. We had a car thus were able to get the food and the water.
