This house is excellent for a large family, two families, a group of friends, or a business retreat. It has a master suite with a king bed/private bath/balcony, a first guest room with king & a second guest room with queen & shared bath, and a loft that sleeps an additional four-six people. Even with a full house, the large patio/pool area plus the almost one thousand square feet of spacious outdoor porches and balconies give this cottage ample places to relax, read, entertain, sunbathe, or escape.
It has a large front porch with a bubbling fountain at the end, and it overlooks a lawn, an excellent place for bocce. Also, there is a large covered wooden balcony above, which is off the front master; plus, a large sun deck overlooking the pool is off the back master.
The interior offers an atmosphere of light, glass, limestone, and wood. The 1st floor is an open plan combining the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The large living room doors fold back, making an open flow from the front porch to the pool/patio area.

Like any rental home we have previously stayed at, wear and tear are present; however, this home was better than most. Having a small pool at the house was clutch with younger kids. The kitchen is reasonably well appointed. The air conditioning was” interesting”. The bottom floor was really hot until we discovered an open utility door on the exterior housing the a/c unit. Inside we found the control box that actually controlled the temperature. We were able to place this on the first floor so it could sense the real temperature. Then the home cooled properly. This seems sketchy to me when many controller systems allow temperature range locks. I understand they are trying to prevent excessive power bills, but 70 is all we were asking and getting 78.
