Apartamento Museo

L’appartement est super, très grand , entièrement équipé, idéalement situé au centre de Séville. Tout est parfait.

The apartment was really well situated, a short walk from the centre of town and yet just far enough to ensure that the street was silent and we could sleep. The WIFI was good, and the apartment looked like it did in the advert. The shower was fine, there was a hob and microwave in the kitchen, and there was a coffee percolator with some ground coffee left for us. The owner also replaced our towels mid-week, which I assume is what we paid the 16 euro cleaning fee for (although we could have purchased new towels for that). The owner was also easy to contact and replied to our questions promptly, and also let us stay an extra hour in the apartment on the final day.

The apartment was dark, cold and smelly. It was on the ground floor and the only window was in the bedroom. The apartment had a tendency to get damp from the shower (the fan in the bathroom didn't work) and wet towels (although these were swapped for fresh ones half way through the week, which we appreciated), and this made it smelly. The lack of natural light left the apartment in the dark for most of the time, and cold even when it was hot weather outdoors. When we arrived, the coffee percolator was unwashed and had the last guest's old coffee in it. The cups were also half-washed, which undermined our confidence in the cleanliness of the apartment (which is so important these days for Covid safety). The mattress was rock hard and we had trouble sleeping at times. The movements of the guests in the apartment upstairs sounded like sumo-wrestling flamenco dancers, which I assume is a function of not using carpets in Spain, but it kept us awake on more than one occasion, but this was obviously not the fault of our host. I recommend that the apartment owner purchases a bin for the bathroom as well as for the kitchen, and maybe leaves out another bin for recyclables. I was aware that our only bin was used for plastic milk bottles (which could have been recycled), vegetable peelings (which could have been composted) and empty toiletry bottles. It would also help to fix the bathroom fan and get a softer mattress for the bed! We thank the host for allowing us to stay and we had an enjoyable stay in Seville.

Full equipped. Very close to the city centre.

the place was very spacious and it had a kitchen as well as a separate bedroom.

I was not the closest place to the city and first time it was a little hard to find.
