Il Palagione

The breakfast was as promised - things grown on the farm or from nearby. The freshly cooked pastries, breads, and fruit were delicious and served on a scenic patio. Georgio was very personally and made recommendations and reservations at two wonderful restaurants for us.

It was further from the main town than expected and there was not really a place to relax outside the room that was comfortable - no balcony or terrace - just a window ..

We stayed at Il Palagione for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. The warm welcome and hospitality of Giorgio and the entire staff was very pleasant and even moving. Giorgio took care of everything we needed, advised us where to go and how to get there, was very communicative and pleasant. The place itself is of the highest standard we have encountered. Clean and tidy, everything is meticulous and tidy down to the last detail, the breakfast is excellent, the surrounding view creates a wonderful atmosphere and contributed greatly to our enjoyment of the vacation. We highly recommend this beautiful and wonderful place.

This is an outstanding place to stay. The service and attention to detail are first class. The room was large and exactly as described with a very high standard of finish. Georgio was the perfect host and suggested places to visit and eat and they booked our table in local restaurants. The buffet breakfast could not be improved upon and we have stayed in many establishments. Well worth the money and a great location for touring Tuscany.
