Good clean pleasant location with unpleasant management

Swimming pool, spacious rooms, nice suttounding of greenery, generally clean, although trash can was only located in the bathroom, located near long white sand beach, unfortunatelly extremly dirty one

Ground staff was friendly, cleaning common area all the time, although strict rules made by the managment (payment for lost card, not friendly when it comes to pushing later check out like hour or two, they ask you to pay half of the price for the night, you can’t use their towels or swimming pool after the check out time and waiting for your flight, your bags can stay there only till 6 pm, they do not try to come up to the client and making any exception, slow tesponses if at all helpful). I’ve been traveling for almost 25 years around the world and I have never seen such strict and not friendly managment, traveling from house guests to 5 starts hotels and this is my FIRST bad review regarding staff because of the management.

staff were not very friendly, especially the Russian woman - possibly the owner. Booking.com had the wrong address, I tried to let hostel staff know know and they were not receptive pool was out of use during my stay

Hotel was good but dormetory room was quite small and the dont have blanket to offer in night

Location is great, beach just accross the road..room not bad, but dont expect to high..and only 3 person are allowed per room..if u came with more than 3 people, its not worth..u can get better hotel with almost the same price..

Cozy and laid back

The pool in front of the room was a blessing. During my stay (days prior to Xmas) it was very quiet. It’s very quiet (no kids or lousy guests during my stay). Location is prime.

The air con took around 3 hours to cool the room but then i was moved upstairs (no chairs to sit outside unlike downstairs) and air con worked pretty well. I was only there for 2 days unfortunately.

Location opposite beach

Location just opposite kuta beach close to shopping centre broad walk.tons of food.swimming pool big but dirty.garden so beautiful and the place so quiet and cleaner staff really friendly .breakfast really good and staff nice.boss lady so nice and try to help us thank you

Shower pressure hard to adjust. Swimming pool so dirty and frist day we arrive at 11pm on 7 nov the guy with the mustchce open the door bad attitude unfriendly. The swimming close for maintian till lch time 8 Nov.9nov no water supply for shower and use toilet till almost lunch time.staff lady work on 8 Nov morning shift bad attitude.at the breakfast staff smoking while customer eating in the restaurant is mean smoke in the restaurant i know in bali pp can smoke but staff shouldn't do it while working.

Cute place with a great pool, fantastic location, no hassles or issues. Would stay here again!

Easy check in and out, secure room and locked gate at the front with electronic pin pad for extra security, fantastic pool, clean and lovely garden that was tended to daily, shower worked well and was hot, toilet flushed every time, air con was good, fridge was cold, staff were friendly and did not hassle guests, great curtains in room for privacy and blocked out any light/sun from outside. The best part is the location of Easy Surf Camp which is across the road from the beach with direct beach access, mini mart out the front, restaurants and shopping nearby. We had a great stay and would stay here again!

The bedding was old and worn with small holes/tears and the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. Pool towels could use an update too as they had some stains.

Great for a short stay - fantastic location

Amazing staff! So friendly helpful and welcoming. Room size is pretty big loved this, big bathroom too it was super clean! I likes the breakfast so nice having a smoothie bowl on offer and 6/7 options. Lovely dinning area and the pool is huge. Never felt like the place was crowded even though it was fully booked. The location was absolutely amazing directly opposite beach, walking distance to everywhere couldnt get a better location!! Big big fridge in room too. I liked the decor as well. It was very very clean and had great wifi

The mattress in rm 23 really needs replacing. Has a big hump in it and made sleep pretty hard. Its kind of a little but noisey too, could hear people in either side of the room. Based on the price i would have expected a better night sleep. All in all for my short two night stay, to get everything locally done i needed to do - it was great just a little pricey for the comfort level

Excellent price/performance hotel. Everything was exceptional. Just the road noise could be a problem for a light sleeper but this doesn’t affect the fact that the premises was in a very good location, interior was modern and the staff was always working to make sure everything was clean.

Hard Pass, Look Elsewhere

Easy Surf Camp—hard pass. I almost never leave bad reviews, but this place crossed the line. I have sleep-apnea snoring—normal dorm noise. Two guests complained and management instantly caved: at 3 p.m. they cornered me to “upgrade” to a private room for basically the full price I’d already paid or take a token refund and get out. Zero mediation, zero earplugs—just pay or leave. The next morning an Indonesian front-desk woman (you’ll know her: door-pounding, permanent scowl) hammered on my door at 11:40 a.m., barking orders like I’d trashed the place—still before checkout. If you expect a laid-back, communal hostel vibe, skip Easy Surf Camp. There are plenty of friendlier, cheaper surf hostels within a five-minute walk that actually understand what “shared” means. Don’t waste your money here.

Well-located, Clean and Comfortable

We had a great time staying at Easy Surf Camp from May 16th to 19th, 2025. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beach and very close to a convenience store and several local attractions. The surf conditions were great, and the hotel offers a wonderful environment for both beginners and experienced surfers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the laid-back atmosphere and easy access to everything we needed.

Close to the beach, local staff were friendly who worked there, close to circle K.

Rooms not cleaned properly, shower head broke not put together properly. People were quiet in the pool but kicked out of the pool area by 8PM. Owner present at time of stay but was not very welcoming. Uncomfortable being around. Would not recommend staying though on NYEPI day if after meals etc. breakfast available but limited.

Favourite stay in Kuta

My new favourite place to stay in Kuta. Right across from the beach and a short walk to many restaurants. Rooms are nice and clean, with large fridge, both fan and AC. Even comes with usb and AU outlets. Pool is clean and big even if not very cold.

The pool was small, they advertise a restaurant on booking.com but they are only open for breakfast. Couldn’t order anything for lunch and they close at 3pm. Hardly a restaurant

I'm coming back

Everything! The location is fantastic, if you're a beginner in surfing it's the best. No disturbing street noise. Every room has a pool view, the garden is kept neat. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, including good practical furniture, even fridge which is rare. The sheets smell good. Great host and service overall. WiFi is awesome comparing to other Bali hotels. Definitely gonna stay in the future!
