Downtown Rijeka

Very easy to find, very clear instructions for self check in. Everything is clean and it has all you need for a pleasant stay. It cannot be more center positioned than it is - everything is around. The host let us leave our bags in the main hallway that's under the code.

Close to the city centre. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had almost everything I needed. More then enough towels were included. The room is small, but still big enough for a few nights.

The A/C wasn't heating the room up that much, so it wasn't always warm inside. The room has a low amount of natural light coming in through the window.

Spacious apartment in excellent location

Although newly renovated, the place is poorly equipped: no black-out curtains/shutters so the room is full of light at dawn (and probably too much sunshine in summer); the kitchen has absolutely bare neccessities and only 3 of each (glasses, teaspoons, plates, etc); the bed mattress is too thin and hard (and I normally like hard beds, but this one was really ascetic). It is on top of a 5 storey bulding without a lift; and the apartment is on two levels - so it's not for people who don't like stairs. It is above a very popular student pub so we had to call the police at 3 a.m. (in January!!!) to disperse the drunken, loud crowd under our windows. The apartment could be really nice, but it needs proper soundproofing , window coverage, a good mattress and a welcoming kitchen to fulfill its potential.

Clean and modern room. The air conditioning was very welcome. A very friendly and helpful host. Good location near the centre of Rijeka.

You have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the apartment. The room is quite small. Sometimes the hot water (shower) didn’t work.
