Le Pavillon Hoi An Luxury Resort & Spa

The rooms were air conditioned and cool, large and well laid out. Our room had a balcony with a Palm View and over the swimming pool. Breakfast was good and varied. Nice large pool with swim up pool bar. The staff were exceptional, helpful and very friendly.

The bar area needs updating. Not really very comfortable or enticing. The area around the sun loungers was very cramped, and the pool is not in the sun after 12 noon. So, unable to sun bathe. The bar was not always attended so we needed to call someone to serve drinks or bar snacks. Nevertheless, we always did find someone and the staff were always obliging. Some of the bar music was a bit ‘boom boom’ ( VPop) but the staff (Tali) were always willing to change this to music of our choice. Overall we had a lovely stay, as this is a very warm, homely hotel with very personal service. The staff, particularly Tali, Yang and Hanna made our stay very enjoyable and we would definitely stay again if we return to Vietnam.

One thing I didn’t like was the pillow offered, it was too firm and high for me. I think a choice of a softer pillow should be available.

These guys have done their homework. Exceeded expectations in every aspect from initial greeting and orientation to the resort, to the immaculate room and friendly staff. Location was exactly what we were hoping for… short trip to town, beautiful bike ride to local rice paddy fields with water buffalo, and enough distance away from the loud hustle bustle of the old city. Will return here 100%!

The room could have been cleaner The room that was in the pictures that I paid was different when I brought this up upon arrival the staff laughed and said what you want to have bath ! Well that is what I paid for the room I ordered!
