Excellent location close to centre of town, short walk to a very good pub and local shops. A good base for walks straight from the door and in the area. The Aga has been replaced with a lovely and easy to use electric range so no problems cooking, kitchen well stocked with equipment. We didn't use the log fire in the sitting room as the central heating was warm enough, even in early March. Two good-sized bedrooms with comfortable double beds. It's a characterful cottage, with steep stairs and a downstairs toilet that has a low entrance door, so beware if you're very tall or have trouble with stairs and steps. Parking on the street very close to the cottage is first come first served, but we didn't have a problem at this time of year.

A tea towel would have been nice.
Toilet was small and downstairs, but we got used to it. Elderly or young visitors might’ve struggled.

Comfortable beds and kitchen well equipped
There is no parking other than on a nearby road where unfortunately our car was damaged overnight. The towbar must have caused them more damage than us thankfully

It was far too hot re Aga and only 1 toilet which was downstairs. My bed was very uncomfortable.
