A stunning property in a beautiful part of the lakes.

A stunning property on lake Maggiore, with amazing views and a very gracious host.

Air conditioning would be a good investment on the property, although on most evenings the temperature cooled down and with the windows and doors left open, the property cooled down. Although it was not a major issue, it is worth knowing that the property is up a very steep hill, so if you don’t drive, make sure you’re fit to walk up to the property.

Honeymoon suite experience :)

Giovanni’s apartment was perfect in every way: stunning lake views, clean, spacious terrace and swimming pool. It all felt very luxurious. The apartment is set in a well-kept garden with fragrant citrus trees and flowers, and the highlight for my kids: about 30 land turtles :) In the kitchen you will not only find basic cooking stuff like olive oil and spices but also numerous coffee capsules, complementary spumante, snacks, etc. The host is just the kindest person and made us feel right at home!

The surrounding area is not very pedestrian friendly but for nice walks the cute town of Arona with a beautiful lakeside boulevard is just a few minutes drive away. Also conveniently located for Stresa.

Difficult for our group of adults with no car, wouldn’t recommend this unless you have your own transport

Lovely views from the property

A car is essential and our group of 6 adults arrived by train. It is almost impossible to get up to the property from the scruffy rail station on foot. No taxis available, the owner offered lifts but that’s not as easy as booking a cab or turning up in a car. We had variable mobility issues, this is not the place to stay.

Great house with a breathtaking view. The host is very kind and super helpful. Totally recommend it. Will go back 100%. only note, the road to reach the house is a steep uphill and a bit narrow so it could be difficult if you have a big car.

The view is just phenomenal. Absolutely breath-taking. We were 2 couples and stayed at the top floor which was well equipped and very spacious. The owner didn't speak a word of English but we still managed to communicate with him. he was very nice and helpful.

There were several substantial issues: the top floor has only one bathroom which is inside one of the bedrooms. that means that one couple had essentially no privacy. The road leading to the house is very VERY steep in the last 100 meters. The host did his best to guide us how to maneuver it and we got up and down safely many times. but it was sketchy. I don't think any car or any driver can make it.

No breakfast served

We stayed at the location in september, where the temperature was about 26 degrees celcius. There is no airconditioner in the appartment and we could not open the door bedroom door at night for some fresh air because of the trains passing by. That is the only thing that could be better on this location. Rest is super, host is so kind and brings you to the supermarket and restaurant if you ask him. Great view and stay!

Traumhaftes Haus , Traumhafte Aussicht, Einmaliger Urlaub

Es war ein Traum in diesem Haus, Die Wohnung ist mit ihren Panorama Fenstern und Ausblick ein Träumchen. die Wohnung hat zwei Eingänge und ist mit allem was man braucht sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Vermieter wohnt im Haus und ist sehr nett. Zur Schlüsselübergabe hat er schon auf uns gewartet und uns alles gezeigt. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt.

Es gibt aber auch ein Manko , es ist die Zufahrt zum Haus. Das sollte jeder wissen, bevor er / sie das Angebot bucht. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist so schmal und steil das ich am ersten Tag dachte. ich Schrotte mein Auto ( Kombi). Diese Straße ist für einen Fiat 500 gebaut. Fahranfänger, sollten das Auto unten stehen lassen oder den Vermieter bitten, es hoch zu fahren. Absolute Vorsicht bei Regen oder nasser Fahrbahn. Ich bin nach einer Woche, mit meinem Allradkombi ganz gut zurecht gekommen. Pool ist nicht geheizt.

Man skulle lige vende sig til at køre op ad indkørslen (når man er vandt til flade Danmark, er det noget skræmmende første gang 😅 - men man kom hurtigt efter det! Fint plads til bilen. Vil sige det gjorde opholdet endnu mere spændende og 😎 fedt

Dieses Appartement ist sensationell und der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. Auf 250 qm befinden sich 3 Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer mit offener Küche, Kühlschrank mit ICE Maker, Kapselmaschine mit Kapseln, Geschirrspüler, Essbar, Esszimmer, 1 Gäste WC , 2 Badezimmer mit WC / Bidet, Pärchen Dusche, eingebaute Badewanne , alles sehr nobel und luxerös. Herausragend ist aber die Terrasse, die um das ganze Stockwerk herumführt und von der man den Lago Maggiore zu jeder Zeit bestaunen kann. Draußen ist ebenfalls ein überdachter Freisitz mit Terrassenmöbeln. Der Pool wird täglich u.a. mit einem elektrischen Bodenroboter gereinigt.

Der Anfahrtsweg zu dem Appartement ist sehr anspruchsvoll, sehr kurvig, sehr steil, sehr eng, da bedarf es schon ein großes Maß an Fahrkünsten.
