Grossartig

The host was exceptionally helpful, friendly and took great care of the guests' needs. Room is large, clean with access to the balcony. Breakfast was prepared with local products. In addition, the host kindly offered transportation to/from Arona city center. Highly recomended!

A lovely rural stay.

Very rural location, very easy to find with google map route. Beautiful room, looked freshly renovated. Very clean and well prepared. We loved Francesca the owner, She made our stay very special.

Lovely country-side stay with organic produce and friendly couple

Francesca and Paolo are wonderful people and provide a perfect place to stay. It was quite unexpected but Francesca even provided a breakfast each morning with produce from her garden. The whole property was a delight. One morning there was a thunderstorm so we spent it watching the herbs and produce being lovingly prepared for local restaurants. We managed to walk into Arona and back but it is quite a hike and the first time we got lost and Paolo went looking for us after we phoned but we did find out way back before we were 'rescued' after walking much further than necessary. Anyway, they are a very caring friendly couple who made the stay there even more delightful.

Cozy and relaxing

The people are always available and kind. The property is immersed in the green. I suggest a tour of the property with the owner to see the peculiarities. The room was very comfortable and breakfast really satisfying. I suggest this facility to all the people that love nature, animals and a kind environment.

Stop the world, I want to get off!!

The stay was a revelation and certainly made us think about our food more, ie sustainability and ethical farming methods. Host and team were superb. Overall a great stay and hope to go back soon. Keep up the good work.

The property is difficult to find, although when you do eventually find this little corner of paradise it makes it all worthwhile.

We had a wonderful time at Biomatto! The farm and the guesthouse were beautiful and the daily breakfast was so good (with delicious vegan options). Francesca and her family were super friendly and great hosts. We will certainly come again!

Exceptional

I slept very well here and didn't want to leave at the end of our stay. Lovely, modern room, really yummy, locally sourced products for breakfast, location was very peaceful - we were just happy to sit in the garden and read, surrounded by the forest. Francesca is very friendly and has a very interesting other business. You need your own transport to get here really - around a 7 min drive into Arona but we did find pretty easily free parking in the centre. 3 nights we stayed and 3 nights we ate very well in Arona at Anticogallo, Contatto and La Ruga del corso. Definitely take the boat to Stresa - finding a parking was a nightmare!

Amazing place in the wood!

This amazing place was the best one in our 17 day journey in south Italy (we have 4 houses) The house is situated in the wood by very closed to Arona. Francesca and her family is leaving near the house and they are very friendly and very good people. It was ideally for us and for ours 3 children’s. Really thanks for this amazing stay to Francesca! The breakfast was really rich delicious and fresh with wonderful cakes that Francesca and she’s daughter Lazen made. Every day was another tasty things to eat.

A beautiful piece of nature!

Francesca and her family were very nice and welcoming hosts. Francesca was always available for questions and recommendations and also responded to individual wishes. The breakfast was excellent with fresh and changing products. The room is very new and lovely decorated.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in der Natur

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in der Natur mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Das Frühstück unter den Bäumen und die Führung über die Farm waren mein Highlight. Supertolles Konzept, sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Einzige, was nicht perfekt war, war die Beleuchtung im Zimmer. Die Lampen sind recht grell, eine etwas wärmere Beleuchtung wäre noch schöner. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Tolle Unterkunft zum Entspannen

Das Biomatto ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft und ein sehr schöner, ruhiger Platz um zu entspannen und die Natur zu genießen. Die Gastgeberin Francesca hat eine sehr liebevolle Art sich um Gäste und gleichzeitig ihr Anwesen zu kümmern. Gäste bekommen auch Tipps um das, was sie produziert, in den nahe liegenden Restaurants zu essen beziehungsweise zu genießen. Wir haben dies getan und waren sehr begeistert. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist einfach und sehr schön. Alles ist modern, die Betten sind bequem, der Balkon ist herrlich zum Entspannen. Auch der Garten lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ein Auto ist notwendig um alles zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist regional und umwerfend köstlich. Im eigenen Laden kann man selbst produziertes wie Honig oder Lavendel kaufen. Eine absolute Empfehlung.
