Good value for money, outside the main rush in calmarea of Irrsee

Positive side: Big apartment - 2 bedrooms. Originaly it was 3 separate rooms, so apartment has 3 bathrooms. Nice balcony. The family running pension was very nice and communicative. Breakfast was fine (nothing hot like sausages or eggs, but we dont need it).

Negatives: It is old pension, lots of equipment is used (like creaking beds or old toilets). Rooms were very clean unless you open drawer - better attention to detail while cleaning would be nice. There are animals and kids playground but very basic - dont expect that much out of it.

The Meadows around the place.. the isolation was great and made the stay very calm and relaxing, the ease of reaching the animals and the kindness of the house owners ..they gave us free milk from the farm

Wifi and mobile internet.. these were bad. Balcony and apartment should be empty from spider webs, there were so many

A calm peacefull place with amazing people. The room was absolutely huge and great. The landscape is amazing. We picked the place just to sleep over originally but fell in love with this pension and started to plan our next vacation here.

We had to leave to take our planned vacation in Italy.

Overall a positive experience

Located in a charming place, although a little far from most of the classical attractions. A perfect place for children, large apartments with a well-equipped kitchen

Cleanliness, especially of the toilets, needs improvement. There was only a little liquid soap and towels. Beyond that, nothing was provided. On the last day we left at 5:30 in the morning, we were promised groceries as a substitute for breakfast but were not provided.

The room was big and spacious, included very comfortable salon and kitchen, balcony with an amazing view, wonderful location and great breakfast. The host was very generous, and the cute pets in the farm are a sweet addition to the perfect experience :-)

Could be better

We loved the farm surrounding and location. The animals around and the view. garden of eden for children. Excellent breakfast with wide variety of food.

We are experienced couple travelling a lot before corona time. We booked a double bed but it was actually a two mattress bed. We didn't complain since it was just one night. The room (#7) was furnished very old fashion. There were no electric points beside the bed and only two plugs available in the bedroom (one for tv) and one in the toilet. A table with a kettle was placed not beside the electric points and I had to move it to a better place. I assumed we would receive mugs with the kettle (would be nice to add a few tea bugs but we bring our own). I mentioned it to the owner but when we arrived in the evening late we didn't recieve mugs and used glass small cups from the toilet. The room we saw on booking looked better than what we got. The bathroom is very basic and small There is no room for the toiletry bag.

Wonderful place!

This is really a charming and peaceful place! It is really perfect for a family with kids with playground and farm animals. We had a big comfortable appartment with a good breakfast. The private beach on the Irrsee lake close to the pension is a beautiful nature site. Special thanks to our host Linda who had delicate attention for our children and my wife’s birthday. Pension Zenzlgut is also the perfect location to visit all the other lakes of Salzkammergut. This is also 5 min away from Mondsee nightlife, restaurants, and lake activities. I would definitely love to come back!

We had a spacious apartment on the ground floor with well equipped kitchen where you can actually cook. My 2yo daughter really enjoyed the playground and feeding baby goat. Friendly service, lovely breakfast, great location, starry at night.

Perfect, serene, and peaceful stay!

I absolutely loved everything about my stay with Pension Zenslgut. It almost felt like a family especially when all the guest where in the breakfast area, chatting and having this wonderful breakfast. It’s a really family friendly place, run by a beautiful family. The animals in the farm are so friendly and lovely. The cats are super fun, the goats are super cool, and the chickens are clever. The view around the Pension was breathtaking. I just don’t have enough words to describe how beautiful and comfortable was my stay there. My family decided to stay with Pension Zenslgut every time we travel to Hof!

Best stay near Mondsee

Great place near Mondsee! If you want to relax and suck up the alpen atmosphere, it is just the place to be. Calm, quiet, beautiful spot. Our third time there and denifitely not the last!!! Owners supernice, you can pat cows, goats. Storage room for bicycles - great place for bike trips!

Don’t miss this beautiful property!

We stayed here for two days in early October. It’s a beautiful rural setting, very peaceful and still so green there. We borrowed the bikes and went for a long enjoyable ride. The room was spotless and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. However, the best part was the breakfast - all locally sourced, and honestly the most delicious eggs I’ve ever eaten. Also the best coffee we’ve had in Austria. Linda, the owner, is so pleasant and helpful. Also it’s a short but pleasant drive to Salzburg and the Eagle’s Nest. A great alternative to the city if you have a car, or for a couple of rest days after running around Salzburg.

Idyllischer Bauernhof in ruhiger Lage mit symphatischen Gastgebern. Optimal für Kinder: kleiner Spielplatz und Tiere. Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten. See ist ca. 10 Minuten entfernt. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren oder Wanderungen.

Sommerurlaub, der wirklich sehr erholsam war.

Die Pension Zenzlgut liegt sehr ländlich und es ist sehr ruhig. Bei uns haben der sehr gute und freundliche Service gepunktet, ebenso das leckere Frühstücks-Buffet und die großzügigen Zimmer. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Paní majitelka byla velmi milá, je mi tedy líto, že dávám takové hodnocení. Pro nás je ale čistota prioritou a tohle byl

Velmi hezké prostředí, penzion se nachází na skvělém místě v dojezdové vzdálenosti Mondsee, k Irrsee je to pár minut pěšky.

Myslím, že by zde měli zapracovat na čistotě. Fleky na matraci, ručnících, drobky a chlupy všude po zemi byly pro nás velmi nepříjemné. Nepříjemný byl i zápach z kočičího žrádla, které bylo skladované na recepci.
