Pear Tree House Studio

The property was clean, comfortable and charming. The kitchen was well appointed and the milk, water and breakfast goodies provided were really appreciated! Our hosts Peter and Gill were friendly, responsive and accommodating.

The apartment was very spacious, with a beautiful landing area and carpet throughout. You go upstairs into a large, impressive space with very high ceilings, which immediately makes it feel open and luxurious. What made it especially unique were the windows: one floor-to-ceiling window and a round window, which added a lot of character and light. Outside, there were trees, and the setting felt quiet, private, and very peaceful. The kitchen was lovely and well thought out, with a nice dining area and all the modern conveniences you could need. There wasn’t a full oven, but there was a glass-ceramic cooktop and a very good microwave-grill combination, which worked well for cooking simple meals. The bathroom was excellent, with a great shower and tasteful oversized decorative pieces that made it feel a bit special. Everything in the apartment seemed carefully considered for convenience, including a comfortable sitting area and a fan if needed. Overall, the place felt beautiful, comfortable, and slightly luxurious. I really enjoyed staying there and would happily return. The host was also very friendly and attentive on arrival, which was a really nice touch. The host was also exceptionally kind and flexible in letting me rebook after a last-minute cancellation, which I really appreciated.

Great location, very clean, very comfortable, great little village for quiet walks. Peter was lovely host gave us recommendations for local activities and even gave us an extra Fan when it was hot!
