Albergue-Hostel Casa da Gandara

An extremely helpful and understanding staff, everything clean, perfectly working facilities, no bad smell, a traditional, but very nicely refurbished house with all the modern facilities and the traditional Galician yard, everything organized helpfully and easily to help a walker on the Camino de Santiago to have a comfortable stay and replenish energy. One could feel a woman`s hand everywhere, a clever woman who can see all details and understand all needs. All the shops, including an excellent bakery, 5 minutes walk, and fine surroundings - one of the richest small towns in this subregion of Galicia, its wealth based on cow breedeeng.

There was nothing that we did not like. Everything was perfect.

Apart from being spotlessly clean, it was quiet and comfortable and right on the camino . But the best was the host, such a caring and kind lady . She made the stay wonderful.

A perfect place to rest and feel relaxed. If in the Camino, it is a great place to stay as kitchen and a relaxing garden with a cool foot bath to help our tired feet.
