The Southwick Sanctuary - Large 6BDR with Terrace

The location could not have been better. There was very close access to the tube and buses. Grocery stores were a half block away. McDonald's was right around the corner. (grandkids were very happy). Plus tons of restaurant options along Kensington High Street. The apartment was clean and was perfect for our group of 10.

There was an area (garden, garage, patio?) that had 9 bags of trash when we arrived. Never picked up and we added 3. Consequently----MICE. Seen them and found feces throughout apt. Needs a broom and dustbin.

Love the location - so convenient to local food shops in Edgware Road. It was really easy to get around London from it too, with Hyde Park within walking distance and several tube stations in the locality too. The house was also very convenient to stay and live in, with lots of rooms, a comfortable lounge and a great number of bathrooms and even a place to work in the basement. The wifi was excellent too and made booking visits and travel really easy. Wonderful church within sight of the house too, which was so welcoming.

The house is in need of significant renovation with a disturbing proportion of the lights not working, the showers a bit hit and miss, and many of the features - such as TV in the bedrooms simply not working. This was a worry in that I almost fell down the stairs because of the lack of light on them, and this spoiled our stay a bit in what was an otherwise a great house. The parking too is in an underground bunker, and if your vehicle is over 1.8m high, as ours is, then forget it - you just won't get in. This is a great house, and if the landlords sort out the maintenance issues, then it could be truly wonderful. We would definitely stay there again - once the maintenance issues are sorted.

Good spacious accommodation, very clean; needs a little TLC in places, but good value. Excellent location.

I had emailed the property to advise we would need access at 3pm. When we arrived the cleaners where there and had no idea we were coming. They were very helpful and gave us the access code, but you have to wonder how we would have got in if they weren't there? They were still cleaning at 5pm!

It was in a great location the house had plenty of bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. Nice big fridge, plenty of pot and pans The door entry system by way of an app on your phone was really good

The place was in need of a bit of TLC. Blinds in bedrooms did not function properly and the curtain pulls, that were meant to close curtains did not work. A little run down really.
