Would recommend and stay here again

Great location, hot water, comfortable bed, heat worked well, no problems.

There’s no elevators. If you’re old/injured or have a hard time walking up stairs, this might be difficult.

Friendly staff, clean, great location. Nice experience having coffee on the terrace. I would also like to mention cheap bike rental, super cool move.

The room was super small, no light 24/7 but it's what you get for the price.

Only rechargable on foot. Keep it mind if you have lots of luggage. Expensive car park outside town to put on top of the night price.

Great stay

Quaint convenient location but not user friendly.

Good location. Quaint and traditional. Helpful to be able to leave luggage earlier than check in.

Noisy creaking wooden stairs inside. Shared bathroom. Payment required for towel. Entry to the property not well lit or signed. Confusion between 2 similar adjacent doors to enter property.

Very basic accommodation, but in an idyllic and atmospheric setting

Beautiful location in the narrow streets of Prian, close to Tartini Square. Nice (shared) rooftop terrace, and nice to have a shared refrigerator to keep sime food cold.

The bunk bed was squeaky. The airco was not in the best state. You have to pay extra for a towel.

If you're looking for something central not too expensive but correct, there you are !

I liked the idea of a typical Piran House ,narrow and high with a small terrasse on the top. The kitchen was a nice facility where you easily meet people. The access at the front door was easy too. The air conditioning system is easy to manage.

The room was very narrow and I was alone so I can't imagine for two ... The room isn't at all noise-proofed from the staircase but very well from the outside . The mattress had a bed sheet but the light quill had no linen , there were no linen available and you had to pay a 2€ fee if you wanted a towel.

Avoid this third-rate accommodation if you want a decent night's sleep!

The property is centrally located in this attractive but very touristy town. However, the bed was very uncomfortable and well past its use-by date, with the springs coming through. The room smelt and was clearly not well-ventilated. The bottom line of accommodation is to provide a comfortable night's sleep so do not stay here if you are looking for that.

The owners talk the talk about providing a welcoming and social environment with emphasis on the free drink and (tacky) souvenir. However, the reality is more about cramming as many people as they can into tiny rooms and a small space. This is shown very clearly by the fact that there are only two bathrooms - no separate toilets so good luck there! The photos of the roof space look lovely but there is actually only enough room for one family or other group to be there at a time. As others have noted, the stairs are very narrow - this would not be a problem except they are also cluttered with chests etc (particularly the last flight) which does make them difficult to manoeuvre and therefore unsafe. Rubbish from the previous occupant was under the bed. Parts of the showers were green with slime. I could not recommend this accommodation, and unfortunately it negatively coloured my view of Piran. I wish I had stayed outside of the town and visited for an afternoon/evening.

Beautiful old style house (narrow stairs, narrow doors, cosy rooms) in a great location. Lovely roof terrace. Shared bathrooms surprisingly clean!

I missed a microwave in the kitchen, but maybe difficult to fit in such old house. Some stairs to walk in if you’re on 4th floor but on the other hand was close to the beautiful rooftop terrace

Poor value for money

The location right in the historical town center. The detailed information regarding parking options. Bed sheets were clean. Good water pressure in the shower. Welcome gesture.

We are experienced travellers and I do not think our standards are very high. We have spent better nights in cheap accommodations in cities with higher temperatures like Phnom Penh, Lima, Havana, Ouagadougou etc. We paid 130€ for 1 night, which is probably to be considered relatively cheap for Piran, but I feel that we should 't have paid more than 75€ for what we got. The room was very hot and stuffy, a simple ceiling fan would honestly do a lot more then the so-called airconditioning unit. The bath mats in both bathrooms were filthy. The door entry code has clearly been the same for a long time, and the luggage we left in the assigned spot was thrown aside and gone through entirely (because the spot is also used be the cleaning staff to put laundry?). The price we paid should at least include towels and the booking site should clearly mention this is a hostel more than a private room. I would not recommend this place.

Great communal base from which to explore Piran.

Great location. The common kitchen is well equipped and a good place to meet other travellers. The host communicates well and does his best to make your stay comfortable.

I was here few times this year and years before. I like this place, but not so much this time. Very comfy bed ! Terace with a view on the venetian church. Kitchen.

Smell of cigarets in room Strunjan. I also put mosquito net down to get more air in the room ( sorry for the trouble to put it back on) , but couldnt get off the smell. I was also sleeping with the window open. Very loud noise at 2am, when drunken girls come from prewedding party...last till 3am, then again at 7am... No cleaning from Friday afternoon till Sunday - dirty dishes in thw kitchen, dirty wc.

Nice place in historical centre Piran, for one night ok, for more nights uncomfortably. Terrace and kitchen too small for more people. No place for your things, clothes,...but otherwise an experience for us, and also for children....great for the that money. But we spent very nice time in this town, so we were satisfied.

It's traditional hostel like place in the heart of Piran. The host welcomed us with welcome shots..,🙈😂 There is terrace also and you can cook nice food and enjoy the meal under the stars. All in all, it's worth the money

Superb

It is a very nice house with shared kitchen and bathrooms. Our room was very narrow and simple with a bunk bed, but it was exactly as shown in the pictures and I was prepared for that. What is more important and what makes the stay there unforgettable is the very nice (shared with all co-residents) terrace and also, if one likes, the pleasure of staying in the original old house in Piran.

The price is too high in my opinion, but perhaps this is the problem of the whole of Piran and Slovenia. At the same time and for the same price you can have a whole apartment to yourself in Croatian Istria.

Central location, practically center of the town. Owner respond fast.

The sensor light not working at the entrance stair and half way up to the third floor. This is dangerous especially you are using the restroom at the night time and going back up to your room. I had to use cellphone as flash light.

Superb

Location is great, just behind the square. 5mins walk from the bus station and all attractions can be reached on foot. Easy to find and clear check in instructions. I'm allowed to leave luggage in the house after check out, and access to kitchen & bathroom after check out is a big bonus!

Stairs are quite steep and narrow, not convenient for those with big luggage. Understand this is the original structure of the house
