Hostel Piran

The location was almost right in the city centre, but it was still a very peaceful street, was not noisy at all.

The location is great and the property manager was amazing, really friendly and accommodating. The hostel has a cozy vintage vibe and the beds were comfortable. The floor does creak a lot, walls are thin, bathrooms are only on ground and the top balcony room really has a Tomb Raider-esque gap situation to get to the balcony. However to a degree that's just what Piran town centre housing is - most of the buidlings were probably built between the 16th - 18th century! At the price we've stayed there for the good parts outweigh the negatives and we'd happily return!

Some sort of a simple self standing clothes rack/hanger would be nice. Also any type of safety cover or at least a movable walkway for the room entry floor gap would be a nice addition.

It was good for a hostel-like type of accommodation. It had a nice balcony area with chairs and table, and the kitchen has a washing machine if you need one.

I did not exactly realise that the room I requested was accessed by a steep ladderlike stairs, which was a bit of a challenge with wet shoes and clothes. Trying to get to the balcony involves stepping over the large hole in floor. I had to be extremely careful.
