Lovely location, disappointing hostel

Despite bad first impressions the stay was fairly nice, albeit basic. The location is the main benefit, being 3 mins from the waterfront. The kitchen was well equipped and the room had great air-con. Piran itself is stunning.

As a couple travelling around Europe this was a very expensive stay for very little. All the bathrooms are on the ground floor. Be warned the walls are stupid thin and the stairs are very creaky so expect to be woken up and disturbed by neighbours. There is also very limited warm water so you have to fight the other residents for a shower. We essentially had no warm water for the first two days. The bedrooms would benefit from a mirror and private sink. We also had the issue of being unable to lock our bedroom door from within because of old hinges. We only managed by placing a padlock over the door latch from inside. Not excellent for safety or security.

Great value, super location and cool room in case of heat

Rooms were clean, good size. Bathroom was on the ground floor, also very clean. There was air conditioning in the room, which was wonderful as it was quite hot when we visited. Staff was super friendly and relaxed, easy check in process.

On the whole the stay was good, Location was excellent.

Facilities were a bit bad. No electric kettle, Have to use sauce pan and cooker to boil water, Toilet and bathroom on the ground floor.

Overall very good place. We stayed 2 nights and it was super good.

Very noisy stairs. I suggest to buy an electric kettle to boil water, is more efficient that'll the gas.

Very nice stay!

The host was very nice and accommodating, the hostel had a touch of authenticity. Easily accessible, from the parking lot uphill. Would stay again!

In one of the bathrooms there was a minor smell from the water, it didn’t bother much, just noticed.

Disappointing

Hostel was centrally located and the shared bathroom was clean. The owner was resposive and answered my call when I realised that I have not received the email with the code to get the keys (my mobile number was not updated in my profile details).

The room that I have received looked nothing like the one on the provided images. The room was situated in the attic and there was not one point in the room where you can properly stand. In order to get to the room you had to climb a ladder which seemed unsafe.

Location

The room was too small, without any air conditioning. There was a fan, but it was totally covered with dust. The stairs are absolutely old and creaky, so you hear when somebody is going up and down. The garbage packages are situated on the stairs on the first floor, just near the door of one of the rooms. There was mentioned in the description that there was a "Privat kitchen". Please don't think that this kitchen would belong only to one particular room. It's not true. There is only one shared, small, not-so-clean kitchen for the entire hostel. We had a "Quadruple Room with Shared Bathroom" with "4 bunk beds" and "Private kitchen"

Friendly host, great location, we had everything we needed. Loved the balcony. Will definitely return.

The room we stayed at was at the top of the hostel and did not look as in the photos(the beds were separated)but it was good nonetheless. The balcony was a great edition although we would suggest a change of furniture because the chairs were a bit damaged.

Very good

It's located in the old Town. An old house with squeaky floors and narrow staircase which is a standard in Piran. My room was quite big with double bed. When I was leaving it was raining and the owner gifted me an umbrella which was nice.

If you're teleworking the check-out is till 10am and there is no possibility to hang out in the hall or kitchen so better find a coffee place.

Location. Fantastic city.

I am to old for hostels for students. Good for travelling without many luggage. Check parking in Piran before you go there -its a nightmare when you don't know ... There is no parking for tourist in the center. Really, for Piran teka just small backpack ;)

Great price in comparison to the available accommodation options in Piran

Very clean facilities, the furniture is a bit dated and rusty, but overall serves the purpose. The accommodation follows the narrow atmosphere of Piran alleys and is very well located near the market Square and close to all good dining places :)

Few problems, but we got what we paid for.

Good value for price, clean bathrooms, the greatest attraction of the Hostel is the location.

I emaild the hostel 2 days before arriving that we would like to check out earlier and put or luggage down for safekeeping. They responded that it is possible. When we got there the host had no idea why we arrived earlier and couldn't take our luggage ( which was mentioned as a possiblity on the website) and sent us back to the streets.(it was 35C at least). 2 days later others could check in earlier without any problem. I do not understand why it was a problem with only us.

Nic nie podobało.

Pościel była brudna, izolacja akustyczna niewiarygodnie głośna, ściany sprawiały wrażenie z papieru, a podłogi skrzypiały tak głośno, że słychać było kroki. Zarezerwowaliśmy pokój późno, ale pomimo informacji na Booking.com, że recepcja jest czynna do 22:00, nikt nie odbierał telefonu po 21:00. Musiałam więc długo czekać, próbując się dodzwonić, aż zobaczyłam na drzwiach hostelu inny numer (nie numer kontaktowy). Odebrał mężczyzna i powiedział mi, co mam zrobić. Z powodu tego długiego oczekiwania musiałam zapłacić za pobyt w mieście, ponieważ dojazd samochodem do Piranu jest ograniczony do 15 minut. Następnego dnia pan pracujący w recepcji powiedział, że o tej porze po pracy już spał i nic nie słyszał.

Las fotos no son reals. El hostel es Vell i brut. Ens van allotjar a un altell...casi res d'espai...els llençols un estripat i l'altre tacat de sang....Això sí, teníem una terrassa..... Si teniu mobilitat reduïda, oblideu-vos de poder pujar a l'habitació perquè són molt empinades i casi sense barana...a la nit, cal anar amb compte si vols anar al lavabo, no hi ha cap seguretat per no caure per les escales. A part' que has de baixar dos pisos més per anar al lavabo.. Vam demanar un llit gran i ens van acceptar la petició....però òbviament havia dos llits petits i bruts.

Pas terrible

Le lieu était bien placé

L’établissement était sale, les serviettes dans les toilettes et les douches + torchons n’étaient pas changé depuis longtemps. Les sols étaient sales, la cuisine aussi. Nous avons eu des draps et serviettes pas propres. La chambre que nous avions était sous les toits et nous ne pouvions pas être debout. Il y avait 2 nids de guêpes sur la terrasse et le propriétaire nous a dit de ne pas toucher mais n’a rien fait. Il y a eu une personne quand nous sommes arrivé et ensuite nous n’avions jamais revu personne.

Ubytování je vhodné pro ty, kteří hledají přespání a nečekají o mnoho víc.

Piran je krásné městečko, všude je kousek k moři, které je čisté a poměrně bohaté, takže i šnorchlování je zajímavé.

Tragédie v Piranu je parkování, centrum je uzavřeno závorou a parkování v něm (ale místo nenajdete) stojí 6 euro na hodinu. Pokud se chcete ubytovat nebo odjet, máte půl hodiny zdarma trošku krkolomným způsobem s lístečkem od ubytovatele. Při příjezdu, když hledáte ubytování je 30 minut poměrně málo a to budete pravděpodobně stát s blikačkami někde, kde se parkovat nemá (nikdo to ale neřešil). Zaparkovat se dá kolem 20 euro na den v několika okolních garážích, nejbližší je +- 15 minut chůze.

La camera è molto spartana e piccola, ricavata nel sottotetto dell'edificio. E' comunque dotata di aria condizionata e comprende un meraviglioso terrazzino sul tetto con vista sulla soprastante chiesa. Il bagno è in comune, situato al piano terreno, al primo piano si trovano una delle stanze e una cucina a disposizione degli ospiti, al secondo piano si trovano due stanze e una scaletta che porta al sottotetto dove si trova la stanza da me occupata. La pulizia di tutti gli ambienti è impeccabile. Soddisfacente il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Není to tak špatné jak se zdá, na pár dní ideální:)

Skvělá lokalita a dostupnost do centra, dvě koupelny, klima v pokoji!, jednoduchý check in,

V pokoji se nešlo zamknout (tip: přineste si svůj zámek), vrzací postele, tenké stěny, nebyla tam varná konvice a nefungoval sporák
