Ruined holiday...

Good location. Near to the beach

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS !! The host misled us by saying that she could provide Internet via cable. This was needed by my son in order to access his job. When he got there, she didn't acknowledge anything she promised, telling him that she couldn't provide internet via cable; even though it would have been simple to connect him to the Internet modem. This was agreed with the host several weeks before arrival. Because my son couldn't work from there, he had to leave the place long before the end of the rental time. He payed the accomodation for 10 nights, but he's only been there 4 nights. For the rest of the nights, the owner sold the room once again but did not return the money we've already paid for the remaining 6 nights. I've been travelling many places in my life, but such a deceptive person (to say it mildly), as the owner of this place is, I've never meet. She kept on saying that she did not agree for cabled Internet connection to be provided, even though we showed her what she agreed this in writing via What's Up. I have saved the Wat'sUp conversation where she agreed to this, and I have contacted Booking.com Support with the screenshots, but to No Avail - she did not want to return our money. What's left for me to do is warn anyone who might want to rent a room at this place to not fall in the same trap as we did. I will write similar reviews for all the online places where this property is listed to be rented.

The location to the beach

Booked king suite and when we got there it was a small one room studio room number 4. I asked was it the correct room and she said yes??.keys to get in on arrival were left in front door and email was sent while I was on the plane ?? So didn’t get it till I landed.

Fabulous. Hood accommodation, great resort.

It was very clean, the staff were very helpful. The location was perfect, a minute from the sea and minutes away from the majority of restaurants and bars. Yet there was no problem with noise despite overlooking the sea and the road.

Like a lot of the properties in the area it was very old fashioned but nothing else was expected for the cost. Great value for money.

Handy place next to the beach!

Superb location, great value for money and Sofia the host is the nicest lady around. Rooms are not very modern, but it's the same as we've seen in other accomodation in Agios Gordios.

A lot of street noise gets inside if you get a room on that side, as well as from the corridor. If you like to sleep in on your holidays, get ready to hear every scooter passing by and hear every door inside the building being opened or closed. Balcony privacy is also limited, you can't see your neighbors due to frosted glass, but you can hear every single word. That being said, it didn't influence my final rating as the rooms are 1 minute from the beach at a very attractive price and Sofia will take good care of you. I don't expect any luxuries, just a basic place to cool down, sleep and shower.

The bed was very hard, lacking in draws for clothes and bedside table (only on one side) the light from the aircon unit was very bright (personal issue as I hate light when I sleep!! )

Cozy room few steps away from an amazing beach

Most definitely-location is the key! Only few steps away from the pebbly beach. The place itself is neat and clean with sheets being changed every day.

lovely relaxing break in lovely resort

location was very good, almost on the beach. Sofia was very friendly and helpful and provided extra pillows and a replacement light bulb when we needed them, and she even booked a taxi back to the airport for us. Toilet paper, hand wash and washing up liquid were all provided and the lovely cleaning lady came in every day and emptied the bins.

the shower was hand held so found it a bit awkward

Room 2: NW facing with view of the street plus mountains and sea to the side Budget accommodation and reasonably priced for 1-10 September Excellent location: 1 min stroll to beautiful clean beach, supermarkets and many bars and restaurants Friendly and helpful staff; Clean/bedlinen changed every 2-3 days, floor washed, balcony swept daily Fridge & kettle/plates and a complimentary large bottle of juice/small cakes/coffee & tea sachets on arrival Good size balcony with clothes airers, table and chairs

Not much to dislike about these apartments! There are other rooms that have basic cooking facilities with a two ring cooking plate & microwave but that would be reflected In the price, perhaps? Other rooms have balconies facing East with the morning sun and the mountains which could be someone else's preference (sun parasols were there).

Nice place to stay in Agios Gordios

We liked the location very close to the beach and bus stop . Away from all the noisy restaurants and bars. Sofia the owner was super nice. We loved our balcony on the 2nd floor at the corner .

I would say the curtain for the shower. We had water everywhere after showering but it is not that annoying!

Good

The studio is close to the beach, stores and restaurants. Very tidy and cleaned every day. The room looking towards the street and the beach. The balcony is equipped with table, chairs and cloth drying stand. The kitchen is equipped with basic tools. Generally satisfied our requirement balance price and quality. And Sofia is very charismatic and sympathic lady.

A no-go for a family

The location is very good, just 2min away from the beach. However, it was very noisy at all times of the day, even at 6am when trucks would come for works. The place is very clean, the cleaning lady was there all the time. Personnel was kind, even helped us with laundry.

The room was too small for the 3 of us and still in the 80s, except for a coat of paint... we did not expect luxury, but a nice place, with a minimum of renovation. The kitchen was very basic, with a hotplate and a boiler, not even a coffee machine. The bathroom was very small, one had to be almost an acrobat to take a shower. There is no parking, the closest one is far, so bringing luggage is a struggle. It was not cheap either, so value for money, not there... Definitely, not the right place for a family.

Will never stay there again

The advertised room compared to the actual was very misrepresented. The room looked like a porn scene from the 60s. Pink walls. Red curtains. And 2 twin beds. Bathroom had poor plumbing. No water pressure and no soap or toiletries were provided.

Lovely !

A lovely clean functional apartment, a great location. This is the third time I've been to Agios Gordios and it ranks as one of my all time favourites. Sofia ( host ) lovely. Nice size balcony with a lovely view. Overall, highly recommended.

One thing I didn't like was the shower head didn't have a spigot up the wall to locate it whilst showering which was a little unusual.

One of the best vacations I have had, would recommend Agios Gordios and this hotel to everyone!

Perfect location with the most beautiful beach next to the hotel, as well as stores and restaurants all in a minutes reach. Super friendly hosts and clean rooms, can really recommend to have balcony with sea view. We spent many lunches there ordering from the gyros shop right next to the hotel.

It would have been nice to have a hair drier, but that is just a small detail. Bring one if you feel the need.

Basic but clean and functional. great location just near the beach. Colourful apartment with plenty of hot water with beautiful side garden section.

No proper shower attachment on the wall. However they put one up for me! Worked perfectly! 👍
