I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Kymothoi in Ikaria! The apartments were exactly what I was looking for – spacious, spotless, and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. They aren’t luxurious, but they feel authentic, practical, and welcoming, which is just perfect for the laid-back charm of Ikaria.
The sea view is simply breathtaking – waking up to the endless blue and watching the sunset directly from the balcony was a highlight of every single day. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene, ideal for relaxing and disconnecting.
A big part of what made my stay so special was the kindness of the landlady, who was warm, attentive, and made me feel at home from the very first moment.
Right in front of the hotel, there’s a beautiful rocky beach – the crystal-clear water is amazing for a swim if the sea is calm and you’re a confident swimmer. On calmer days, it feels like your own private paradise.
Overall, Hotel Kymothoi is a gem for travelers who love authentic stays, incredible views, and genuine hospitality. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Tutto impeccabile! Jenny è stata splendida fin dal primo istante: accogliente, gentile e sempre disponibile. Ci ha fatto sentire coccolati in ogni momento e, con grande attenzione, ci ha suggerito anche eventi e luoghi da visitare, rendendo la nostra esperienza ancora più speciale.
Un piccolo suggerimento: sarebbe utile avere un’illuminazione fino all’appartamento. Al momento, a piedi può risultare un po’ pericoloso; consigliamo quindi di usare una torcia per essere ben visibili alle auto.

Great views from the balcony. Well equipped accommodation. Great for a couple.
The 2nd bedroom isn’t suitable for sleeping. It’s a loft space that you can’t stand up in and there’s no aircon there.
