The place was not worth the Price paid for the accommodation as it was far below the standard.

There was nothing really exceptional as per reviews when booking this place and for sure the place was not worth the price charged. The owner needs to change her attitude and focus on making sure all the amenities and facilities are in order and in working condition before the place is rented out to customers and guest. All systems and appliances should be checked and should be in working condition and cleaning supplies and toiletries should be stocked up before the guest check in. Owner also needs to change her attitude and not be rude to customers and be open to positive criticism.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my stay at Casa Faria, Hvar (21–23 Oct 2025). While the apartment was pleasant and the garden attractive, it was untended, with leaves scattered across the outdoor area. The main issues were the owner’s rude attitude, poor maintenance, and lack of basic amenities, which did not match the high price charged. Having stayed at several Croatian properties booked through Booking.com, this was by far the most disappointing. Issues faced: 1. Leaking kitchen sink: Reported immediately upon check-in. The owner refused to send help, asked us to film the leak, and then wrongly accused us of causing it. She even suggested placing a pot under the sink. Only after repeated complaints did she send help at 7:30 p.m. 2. Insufficient toiletries: Only one toilet roll per bathroom was provided for six guests. Requests for more were initially refused. 3. Missing kitchen essentials: No paper towels, garbage bags, dishwashing liquid, or sponge were supplied. The owner told us to buy our own. 4. Unclean bedding: Pillows in my room had no pillowcases, raising hygiene concerns despite a high cleaning fee. 5. Wi-Fi not working: The router was unplugged in another room; we had to troubleshoot it ourselves. 6. Dishwasher not working: It was non-functional; we washed dishes manually. 7. Unprofessional communication: The owner told us to “calm down” and complained we’d called too often, despite multiple unresolved issues. Even after we mentioned reporting to Booking.com, only partial action was taken — the sink was fixed, and toilet rolls were delivered the next morning, but kitchen supplies never provided, nor any apology offered. Overall, the property’s hospitality, maintenance, and service were well below standard for the price charged. I request that Booking.com review this case and consider a partial refund, as well as reassess the property’s listing to protect future guests. Thank you for your attention. Polecam dom, świetna lokalizacja, super ogród i fajnie odnowione wnętrze domu

Świetnie zlokalizowany dom w przefajnym miasteczku Stari Grad. Lokalizacja tego obiektu to 10/10. Parking w domu na 1 samochód, co przy wielkości domu nawet na 8 osób wydaje się trochę za mało ( my akurat byliśmy w konfiguracji z 1 samochodem, ale taka drobna sugestia). Odnowiony stary dom w sposób bardzo komfortowy, klimatyzacja w salonie kuchni i korytarzu w zupełności wystarcza, pralka żelazko. W mojej ocenie słaby odkurzacz i brak dostępnego - mopa- schody które znajdują się pod piękna figa :)- cudowne drzewo wymagały przemywania niestety cały czas się kleiły- zakupiliśmy ścierkę w pobliskim sklepie ale mop dostępny byłby super rozwiązaniem. Fajny ogród i dobrze zacieniony stół do spożywania posiłków. Podróżowaliśmy z psem i nie było tutaj żadnego problemu, duży plus
