Casa Malasaña

It’s a beautiful apartment almost in the heart of Madrid… far enough away from the noise of the city but close enough to get to the underground that takes you everywhere or simply just a 15 minute stroll into the buzzing beautiful city. The apartment has everything you can possibly need. The host was amazing, the lift wasn’t working when we got there so we had to go up 3 floors with heavy suitcases and tired after driving a few hours in an unfamiliar country , but it took just one message on whatsapp for the host to contact us immediately and get it all sorted in less than an hour from our arrival.

Nothing we didn’t like, except there was a noise that we couldn’t identify where it came from, probably the hot water system or the AC in one of the bedrooms???

Nice apartment and well equipped has everything you need and we liked that they put coffee and water and soft drinks. Contains cleaning stuff and dishwasher tablets and washing machine powder. The location is great walking distance about 15 minutes to the shopping area. Easy access with detailed info and Raquel who was in charge was very helpful and replying directly to the messages.

The bathroom is very tiny and the water in the shower is weak, the sink is in the bedroom which we found not practical. There is a disturbing noise from the restaurant extractor that stays late at night so I told Raquel about it and she asked them to put it off before 12 am.

Great location and communication from host. Super clean and functional. We had a great stay and would recommend.

Lift not working for 2 days of our stay. Host was communicative - a public holiday in Madrid probably didn’t help getting it fixed straight away. No big issue.
