Talek Bush Camp , Masai Mara

visited Talek Bush Camp and honestly the experience was incredible from every aspect. I booked a riverside tent for two nights and it gave me a true wilderness feeling. Hearing hyenas at night and seeing hippos only around 50 meters from the tent made the safari experience feel completely real. The camp is surrounded by wildlife and beautiful bird sounds all day long. When I arrived, I wanted to do a self-drive safari with my own vehicle, but at the gate they told me my car was not allowed because it did not have a pop-up roof. Abdulrahman, the owner of the camp, personally came with me to the gate, spoke with them, and helped me get permission to enter the Mara Triangle with my vehicle. He also arranged for one of the Maasai staff members from the camp to join me for a full-day safari in Maasai Mara. Special thanks to Abdulrahman, Lazoro, Simon, and all the staff for the amazing hospitality. They truly helped me and made the stay unforgettable. And I’ll say it one last time — if you want a real wildlife and safari experience, this is the camp to stay at.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is very close to the Masai Mara gate, which made everything so convenient. The service was superb, and the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Special thanks to Chef Ahmed for preparing wonderful (Halal) meals that felt just like home-cooked food. I would also like to thank Nelly at the reception, who made sure we had everything we needed during our two-night stay. A big thank you as well to Janet from the restaurant for her excellent hospitality and attentive service. Many thanks go to Mr. Mustafa, the owner, who kindly upgraded our stay and ensured everything was perfect. This hotel is truly unique, beautifully blending nature with a modern camping style. The view overlooking the river is stunning and adds to the peaceful atmosphere. I also appreciate the guards who stayed awake all night to ensure safety and security. I strongly recommend this property.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Talek Bush Camp. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely German host and Mustafa, the owner. Both were incredibly friendly and very accommodating with our dietary requirements. We were escorted to our tent by a kind housekeeper (whose name I sadly forgot). The tent was spacious and beautifully arranged, featuring an ensuite bathroom, comfortable beds with mosquito nets, bedside lights, a dining table, and a sofa. It also had a lovely patio overlooking the river, which made the setting feel even more special. At night, we could hear monkeys and hippos nearby, which was an unforgettable experience. Being surrounded by pure nature and wildlife was truly incredible. Our camp keeper, Simon, was the sweetest person we met during our trip. He would safely escort us back to our tent after dinner or walk us to the entrance for our very early morning game drives. His kindness and warm personality made our stay even more memorable. The common area was inviting and relaxing, with a beautiful patio where we could sit, unwind, and enjoy the sunset before dinner. The food was very good, and I especially loved the coleslaw and the fresh fruit. The camp also prepared packed breakfasts or lunches for our game drive picnics, and the portions were incredibly generous. All the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Overall, our experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend this camp to anyone visiting the .

Camp is right outside of the gate and safari was good, dinner was good everyday, but lunch and breakfast( not much options)

Breakfast and lunch could improve
