About this house rental
Yellow House is a luxurious villa at Sanctuary Farm on Lake Naivasha, perfect for families or groups. With three en-suite bedrooms, generous living areas, and private gardens, it blends comfort with nature. Guests can enjoy open-plan dining, a cozy TV lounge, and a wide verandah that looks out onto wildlife and the surrounding sanctuary.
We are a family-run conservancy and live on the farm, so one of us will always be around to help out. We share our phone number during check-in, and guests are welcome to call or send a message at any point of their stay with us.
Sanctuary Farm is located on the shores of Lake Naivasha, in the heart of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. Guests can explore:

Please note that this is a family-run farm, not a hotel; we ask you to treat the house and grounds with respect.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks available at on-site restaurant, Kijiko.
Beware of wild animals especially at night!
Night guard closes the hippo gate at 6:45 pm, so please notify host for late returns.

We had a wonderful stay at Yellow House on Sanctuary Farm, comfortable, well appointed and equiped for everything you need for a group stay. We enjoyed the big terrace and the fabulous view overlooking the farm.
The house had drinking water, coffee, tea, sugar, and an incfedibly well equipped kitchen, with top notch appliances. The beds and linens were all very comfortable, and the hot water showers impeccable.
Wifi worked well and there was a TV, although we didn't quite need either...
We saw a lot of animals during the day and during the night game drive within the farm, well worth it!
Looking forward to returning with other friends for a longer stay.

We had such an amazing stay at the yellow house. The property is beautiful and there is so much to do. We unfortunately didn’t have power for about half of our stay. I understand the loss of power was out of the control of the hosts, but at the rate a night we paid, they could easily add a small generator to the property. We lost meat, milk and other grocery items after the fridge quickly warmed when the power went out.

Yellow house at Sanctuary was a real pleasure to stay at. The house is beautifully set in the yellow fever trees near the lake, with zebras roaming the grounds. It is very comfortable, spacious, and well-supplied, and the Sanctuary staff made us all feel at home. We'll be back!
