The view from the terrace is the perfect medicine for your body and mind. Just sit in the chair and enjoy the views, and often a really nice sunset! The barbeque is also a nice bonus.The neighborhood is also really safe and quiet.
We didn't really have any complaints.

Das Ferienhaus lädt ein zum Entspannen und Genießen. Hoch über den Dächern von Calheta bietet es einen traumhaften Blick auf Madeiras Küste. Das Haus war sehr sauber, komplett eingerichtet und herzlich für unsere Familie vorbereitet. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war stets zuverlässig, zuvorkommend und schnell. Da die Häuser an sich eher kühl sind, schaltete die Vermieterin vor Anreise sogar die Heizung für uns an - sehr zuvorkommend. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen für einen Urlaub auf Madeira.

Het huis is prachtig, met mooie details zoals de stenen muren. Je hebt het hier zeker niet koud door de airconditioning die er hangt, die kan verwarmen en koelen. Prachtig uitzicht over het dorp, een stuk van de oceaan en de bergen. De bedden liggen goed. Je wordt goed geholpen als je vragen hebt. Een huis dat tenminste laat zien hoe hier ook geleefd wordt; in plaats van een sjiek hotel heeft dit veel meer karakter en sfeer
Oven en magnetron in de keuken zijn wel is aan vervanging toe .
En aantal pannen mogen wel is worden vervangenen

Really nice house with a very friendly host.
Our flight was delayed by one day - no problem to change the dates - thank you!
It was December and it was raining a lot and quite chilly.
There is only a fired oven in the house. The host brought us a heater which helped a lot for one room.
Nevertheless the whole house was really cold (well below 18 degrees).
go there in summer and you are fine - I would not go there again in winter!!
