Selong Selo Resort and Villas

My family and I stayed at Selong Selo for 5 days and 4 nights, and we were so glad we chose this place. The views are beautiful, but what we loved most was the peace and tranquility. After a full day exploring Lombok, we always looked forward to coming back to the villa to unwind. The staff were wonderful — always helpful, accommodating and quick to attend to our requests. Special thanks to Alif and Ardian for taking such good care of us throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the food at Aura. We tried quite a few places while exploring Lombok, but somehow, the flavours at Aura were still unmatched. Kudos to the culinary team! All in all, a beautiful and peaceful place to retreat to, with lovely people, great food and incredible views. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Just a couple of things to note — the drive up to the villa can be quite winding, but I guess that’s the trade-off for the peace and quiet you get once you’re there. And do watch out for the monkeys, especially if you have food around!

There was nothing not to like about this place. The photos dont do it any justice. The only downside is that its a bit far from town so your own car/bike would be helpful. Otherwise a 10 out of 10

The only complaint would be that the pool could have been a little warmer but really no big issue.

Lovely. Clean, helpful attentive staff. Don’t be fooled with the drive up once you arrive the villas are fantastic.

Everything is really good can’t fault it

Location was fantastic. Villas were (mostly) beautiful and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. When there were any issues with our stay they did everything they could to make it right. The problem is with just a little more effort from the management these issues wouldn't happen and so service recovery wouldn't be neccessary.

Many small issues, inlcuding but not limited to - The maintenance and cleanliness of the villas was not up to the standard of the resort. Frayed wiring and damaged plugs, bed sheets not cleaned and changed when requested, pool remained dirty despite repeated requests to clean. Not only that but the final bill upon check out was all wrong, over double the correct price was charged. We had to go through every item with the team members to correct the bill. The place and the people were amazing, but these basic issues seem like managerial and training oversights that shouldn't occur in a place like this. Additionally the food was wildly overpriced.
