Mambo Lombok

We had an incredible stay at Mambo Hotel in Lombok and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. The location is perfect, close to the central area, but beautifully tucked away on the hillside, giving you privacy, peace and complete relaxation. Despite being so close to everything, the villa is incredibly quiet, with no outside noise disturbing you. We stayed in the 3-bedroom villa, which was absolutely huge and beautifully designed. The open-plan kitchen and living area, together with the private pool, offer spectacular views and make it very hard to leave! The breakfast and service were exceptional, but what really stood out was the staff. From housekeeping and reception to the hotel driver, everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional, always ready to assist with a genuine smile. The combination of the location, cleanliness, amazing views, beautiful villa and wonderful people made our stay truly special. And if you are lucky enough, you will be able to see the monkeys around your villa. We will definitely come back to Mambo Hotel the next time we visit Lombok! Highly recommended!

Mambo Lombok is a beautiful, spacious and peaceful accommodation on the edge of Kuta. The property is very new, clean and thoughtfully designed, with stunning bamboo architecture and a natural, contemporary feel. The views are absolutely fantastic, and the quiet location makes it a great place to relax away from the busier centre of Kuta. The staff are extremely kind and friendly, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are also three bathrooms/toilets — which may sound excessive, but you certainly appreciate it when travelling with a group!

The biggest downside for us was the lack of sunlight around the pool. As a result, the pool water was quite cold and not particularly inviting. For the price, we also expected a higher level of service and more assistance with practical arrangements, such as organising scooters. The information brochure mentions meals “prepared by our chef”, but there is currently no chef or kitchen on the property. Breakfast can be ordered, but it operates with fixed time slots, so if you miss the ordering window, you may have to wait. Mambo Lombok has the look, allure and price tag of a five-star accommodation, but in practice the execution and level of service are not quite at that five-star standard yet. The property itself is beautiful and has enormous potential, but there is still a noticeable gap between the expectations created by the design and price and what is currently delivered in terms of facilities, service and overall guest experience. The accommodation is also still partly under construction, so some facilities and services may simply not be fully developed yet.

El personal muy buena onda y hacen un whatsapp con todos los miembros de la casa para responder todas las preguntas. Una vez se corto el agua y lo solucionaron rapidamente. Te ayudan con cualquier tipo de servicio y recomendacion. La Villa es preciosa, perfecta para familia (arrendamos la grande), las fotos son iguales a lo que uno ve. El segundo piso es el mejor ya que es espacio comuna para compartir con una piscina muy rica. Increíble lugar

Un poco mas alejado del centro, no es para ir caminando a ninguna parte ya que es subida. Pero si arriendas moto estas a 7 min del pueblo, lo recomiendo mucho. Para nosotros no fue problema y la lejania se agradece para estar en una zona mas tranquila pero al mismo tiempo cerca de todo. El gimnasio no esta en la villa, esta a 3 min en moto, caminando son 20 min. Eso si, el gimnasio es increible
