the Casa Gioiosa was very good, the surrounding area made us wanting to leave as early as possible

The house, the Host, the room, all very good, clean, spacious, it had also a little fridge and a coffee machine, a parking space for the car, all very nice.

I was choosing the location for a night break while travelling farther on the next day and I was counting on one o two restaurant to have dinner. They were bought closed...on a Friday...the next village had a restaurant. In general, it is a industrial working area, with lots of factories and a lack of happy faces.

Spacious and clean apartment. Good secure off-street parking. Well kept building.

The plates and cutlery were very sparse - even for two we were using mix-matched and bent utensils and cracked or chipped dishes. There was no toilet paper provided even.

It is a nice and clean place. It is close to the supermarket. It is very helpful because local restaurants did not work.

We did not take rental car and used public transportation.We needed to take a bus to Colico. Another option is a taxi.It 15-18 euro to get to Colico train station.

The property had all the facilities mentioned in description.

We didn’t receive the apartment that we saw in the pictures when we booked it . The landlord doesn’t speak English or she doesn’t want to speak English . All her messages were in Italian . As it was 8degree outside , we have asked her to turn on the central heating as we had 2 young kids (2and 5 years old ) and one of them has some health problems. She came the second night and she made us feel so uncomfortable telling us that in the house is too hot , that we don’t need central heating , she had mentioned that now the electricity is expensive because of the war . She pretended she sat up the temperature but in reality she never did it . I felt so uncomfortable . Also one of the kid was sick one night so because in the flat there is a was machine I asked the landlady to wash some clothes. Before turn it on for me she asked me if I wash only one time ?! Her husband looked it in all the rubbish bags that we put in the bin as he said we haven’t sort the rubbish properly. In the house there is only one bin so if they would like for us to sort the rubbish they should provide different bins for plastic , paper, general waste not to look in the bags where I put the baby nappy . Landlord stayed in the Same property and she see you when you come and go and what you do . One night she was waiting us on the stairs to show us that she has friends from same county we are from . I would suggest her to put up the price but avoid all the theory she does to you when you ask her for the facilities mentioned in the description . I don’t see a reason why I should explain her our reasons to wash some clothes or for the heating on .

Amazing hosts, clean and big facility, very satisfied with everything.

The hosts were amazing! A very nice and kind welcome. The facility was bigger than expected, very clean and neat. Location is not in the centre, but we had a car so I couldn't be more satisfied with my stay. If you have work or vacation trip in the area, this is the place to stay.

Very nice host, place a little out of the way but with parking. Well connected to other towns. Super dog Paco! The place is clean, well-maintained, spacious. Kitchen equipped with everything, even a coffee machine :)

Book this apartment and you will feel the luckiest traveller

One of the best locations to explore both lake Como and the Alps provided that you have a car. The apartment is really an excellent choice. The most pleasant surprise is the family dog Paco who will welcome you and treat you as his real friend.

Very friednly and very helpful host. The apartment was big, with 3 balconies, cosy and clean rooms. Comfortable free parking in the yard. I would definitely choose this hotel the next time I come to visit Como lake! Thank you very much for the very pleasant stay! Best host!

Good location for everybody. Shopping centre 1 mile, village of Colico where you can walk by the lake 4 miles. 90 minutes drive to St. Moritz for a decent skiing. Apartment had all facilities to sleep, cook and have a good rest.
