Sea Cliff Eco-Cottages & Gin Distillery

The staff was amazing and very helpful. We just loved our cottage. Clean, nice kitchen with everything we needed, and the gin was amazing.

You really need a car, as it was remote which is what we were looking for..

Rustige plek, in totaal 5 huisjes van verschillende omvang. Wij hadden een huisje in de schitterende tuin, met prachtige bomen en platen. Een volgende keer zouden we toch een van de drie voorste huisjes kiezen; die kijken uit over zee, met een mooi terras in de tuin. Je kunt in een paar minuten afdalen naar een mooi zwart zandstrand. Het zwembad was net nieuw en van daaruit kijk je ook uit over zee. We hadden goede communicatie met de eigenares en met de medewerkers, die ter plaatse waren (tuinman, 'bewaking'). Er ligt een map in het huisje met heel veel ideeën om dingen te doen in de omtrek.

Iets van verduistering zo het nog mooier maken en misschien iets meer ruimte voor koffer/kleding.

Tolle Lage mitten in der Natur und schnell erreichbar. Einfach schön.

Alles gut. Ein Stück Seife als einzige Pflege Produkte geht mal für zwei Nächte, ist aber knapp.

I really loved everything about the villa, the gin was nice, shower etc. well thought out which is a shame because

We were really looking forward to a peaceful and relaxing end to our Caribbean trip, but unfortunately, our stay at Sea Cliff Eco-Cottages was overshadowed by ongoing construction that completely disrupted the experience. While the natural setting is beautiful, what we arrived to was essentially a construction site. Directly surrounding our villa, there were active earthworks, a large excavator, construction materials, power cords, metal debris, and workers moving back and forth in front of our space throughout the day. We were met with the constant sounds of drilling, hammering, and machinery from morning until evening—including a truck arriving at 7:45 a.m. and loud gravel being shoveled just outside. The photos advertised a tranquil, private eco-retreat with lush gardens and uninterrupted ocean views. In reality, much of the lawn in front of our villa was dug up or filled with building equipment. Given the image used to sell the villa, I felt it was a case of bait-and-switch, especially disappointing given this was meant to be a quiet final stop on our journey. Simon, who welcomed us, was friendly and did acknowledge the construction at check-in. But with all due respect, an apology alone doesn’t compensate for what should have been disclosed upfront. If the cottages are undergoing building works, this should be made completely clear to prospective guests. Unfortunately, had we known, we never would have booked. I’ve included a photo to make it clear this review is not an exaggeration—just an honest warning to help others avoid the same disappointment.
